  1. Garmin has great customer service so don’t hesitate to give them a call.
  2. Reading Mike Iaconelli’s book, that’s what he did as a kid. Fish one lure for a summer, and another the following summer. Didn’t turn out too bad for him.
  3. Grabbing the line to land a fish instead of the net.
  4. ^^^^good tune!
  5. It was a bit chilly and windy when you were there that’s for sure.
  6. Nice work! I’d guess the A-10s were probably up at Camp Grayling. My co-worker is up there for two weeks doing their training. He sent a couple cool videos Friday of some short range missiles launching.
  7. Pics or it didn’t happen
  8. Every day is a gift. Sometimes it takes a life altering event for one to realize that. It did me. You two aren’t taking anything for granted and you’re making the most out of each day. Keep up the good work net man!
  9. It was a month and a half long. Plenty long enough. The land wasn’t very big and the birds didn’t cooperate.
  10. Thursday I had a conference call with a vendor we use and they’re out of Alberta. I asked him the same question. 😁 Get that net warmed up, you’re in for a busy day!
  11. After 19 years of marriage I still haven’t learned that one. I’m a slow learner. 😂
  12. My Grandpa was in WWII. He was in his 70’s when I was born and he passed away when I was barely in double digits. All I know is he was in New Guinea. My mom said all he would talk about was seeing kangaroos and koalas. I’d like to know more about where he was and what he did but information seems nonexistent. He’s now resting at Fort Custer National Cemetery here in Michigan. I still have one of his dog tags.
  13. The greatest generation.
  14. I thought for sure he’d recommend tomato juice. 😂
  15. True. I kinda figured most kayakers would realize a 12, 15, or 18” screen would be too big for a kayak.
  16. I answer your other question. Adding a fish finder isn’t going to make you go from a 10 fish day to a 100 fish day. Fishing in general is a learning curve that for me anyway never stops. Adding electronics is going to add a whole new learning curve. You have to learn how to dial it in and interpret what you’re seeing in order for it to be beneficial. Don’t misinterpret what I’m saying because I wouldn’t go fishing without mine. It just takes time, effort, and a lot of learning to see results. As far as the electronics themselves, get the biggest screen you can afford. If you can wait until Black Friday you’ll save a decent chunk of change.
  17. @Smirak I don’t drink coffee but I’m guessing Urban Cowboy
  18. I got my hands on a new pair of hunting boots. My old Itaska rubber boots have started to crack so it was overdue. I did buy a cheap pair of neoprene boots but the soles were too thin for hunting. The Hiseas neoprene boots are super comfortable, not heavy like my rubber boots, and the soles are thick with a nice tread like you’d expect for a hunting boots. The thing I was most surprised about, the price! These boots are comparable to other popular high quality boots but at a fraction of the cost.
  19. @Skunkmaster-k mentioned it earlier. Garlic!
  20. Onions. Cut an onion in half and rub it one your hands. It’ll get rid of that fish smell in no time! 😂
  21. Are you networked together? What are you needing two cards for?
  22. I’ve heard of similar situations like yours. One in particular a patient was staying at the hospital and different specialists would come in and ask the patient how they’re doing, just a quick poke the head in the door and out they go. Patient received the bill and they see the specialists charged them with a consultation.
  23. I just got off the phone with Johnny Morris and he said your NDA has expired, so you’re good to post it. Don’t make me wake @Glenn up and give you an ultimatum. 😉
  24. Yup! Danielle got a book of Michigan birds from my parents quite a few years back. We both got a chuckle out of it and thought to ourselves maybe we’ll use it when we’re 70. Well, wouldn’t you know we’ve been using it lately. Last weekend Hank and I were out for a walk and a little bird flew out of a shrub we have. Sure enough there was a nest in there. I was able to identify the bird based off from its color and their eggs, thanks to the book. Liam is calling us old and I realize I’m turning into my dad! 😁
