@Eric 26 if you see a horse laying down it’ll be very brief or there’s something wrong with it. They can’t lay down for very long, in fact they sleep standing up.

As most of you know I’m not much of a leader guy, but as I’ve upgraded my arsenal over the years I’ve also upgraded my lures. As I’ve upgraded my lures my concern of losing baits has increased. Living in Michigan there’s no shortage of toothy critters and they seem to be more common than ever, even in the lakes that the DNR have claimed to have eradicated them from. That being said, I’ve decided to take the plunge and I’m going to start using a leader. Seaguar has treated me well over the years! I mostly fish braided and since transitioning to Smack Down a few years ago and Tatsu a couple years ago I’ve been extremely happy with my results! I’d cancel that order. For $699 you can get a 93 with a transducer which I know you don’t need but for a little bit more you get a bigger screen.

Because weeds are unsightly, the homeowners don’t like it, and it hinders the wake boaters. 😁

If you’re looking for just the screen you’re going to have to look on FB Marketplace or the auction sites, otherwise you’re going to have to buy a complete unit which will run you $700.

I haven’t had any experience with their spinning reels but I have a baitcasters and I am extremely happy with it so I imagine their spinning reels are on the same page.

I have plenty of memorable bass I have caught over the years, from my first bass to my PB. None of them compare to my son’s first bass. Unfortunately, I can’t find the picture at the moment. Another one though was this one. It was a team effort. My wife, son, and I were bridge fishing one day. I went back to the truck to grab a Senko for my wife. My son, 8 at the time, decided to grab my baitcaster which he didn’t know how to use, and decided to cast it. He gets a bite, sets the hook, and the fight is on! He quickly struggles to reel it in so my wife decides to help. The bass is jumping like crazy, she gets excited, and chaos ensues! She can’t reel it up to the top of the bridge so I come over and take it from her, let line out, and I go running down to the bank to land the fish. We all had a good laugh and walked away with a good story.

I’ve seen them in trees and telecommunication lines along rivers and lakes. Who in the world would even think for one second that fish are in trees.

My local shops are geared towards the hunting crowd and have minimal fishing gear. We do get our hunting stuff from them so there’s that. I really wish they would stock more gear for the more serious anglers.
