I fish senkos more then most other plastics combined in the spring. I have to say I have used most styles out there, and the Bass Pro Stik-o in the 4 1/4 is my money bait. I have had problems with the GYCB's ripping after a few fish! They are so cheap, 25 for 5 bucks! And sometimes they are on sale for less. Corey

Yeah go figure, I think it happens to alot of people. Same thing happended to me, bought a Sammy 115 in Frog and caught 10 LG's on a point near some boat docks in a half an hour! I was wold too, good luck You will cry when you buy 5 at the same time, and then comapre the 75 you spent on those to other lures! :) What kind did you buy? later, Corey

Depending on the lake but I'd throw frog in the low light hours, and then use a senko weightlees, and a lightly rigged t-worm. I might try a jig too. Corey

Sorry for not being exact, I mean for largemouth or smallmouth bass. I just thought that even in heavy cover 30lb was overdoing it, I just like the challenge. Thanks, Corey

I have a mixed idea on them, I love um but dont think they are for everyone. If you fish hard and take tackle seriously then they would suit you, but dont think they will catch for you. Become better with cheaper versions before you buy alot of these, that was my mistake. There are alot of baits out here including, Excailber, Rapala, Mann's, Strike King and Bomber that make great baits. I have found my Rick Clunn's, Sammies, BDS's and Pointer's to be very good, and in IMO worth the money. The Natural makes a good point, if you are gonna spend the money on something like a 24 pack or food, then why not use it to buy something useful? Over the past few years I have fished just about every Deeep Diver, and found that the DT's are the best, so theres a bait for under 7 bucks that can outfish a LC. I believe LC has put some serious time into their products, look at their pro-staff, they would help any lure company out with ideas they want to see in lures. LC's are tuned and come with some of the best hardware found on any lure, and I have yet to buy one that has run wild out of the box. My point is stick with what you like but dont overlook the fact that the bait doesn't make the fisherman. 8-) My 2 cents, Corey

Yeah Road is right, this bait takes some getting used to. The bait is very heavy and if your like me you use light line when throwing jerkbaits, the normal 8-10 pound test. That bait is very easy to loose, you have to slow your cast down and let the bait do the work, and believe me it will. My best colors have been Nishsiki, Perch, and Ghost Minnow. It will catch very big fish, but I have caught some smaller smallies on it as well. Good bait, Corey

They are sweet looking baits, they just seem to scream collecter bait if you ask me. Lucky Craft pushes the bank for me enough, besides the colors, sizes, and design that goes into Lucky Craft is the best period. Not trying to russel any feathers, Corey

Summer - Manns Hardnose RibbonTail in Junebug with 3/8 tru-tungs weight and red superline Gamakatsu 3/0 hook. Fall - Stike King 3X Shad emrald shiner rigged weightless on a 3/0 gamakatsu red hook. Winter - None ( we get ice ) Spring - Yama Senko Gold Watermelon 4 1/4 inch rigged weightless with a 3/0 gamakatsu red hook. Corey

I agree most saltwater patterns are very similar if not the same as freshwater, My clousers are my secret weapon for smallies on St. Clair. Corey

For anyone who carries more then 15 at a time, try and buy replacment skirts in differnt patterns, and carry the tools to change blades and rings at any given time. It will help elimate all the complicated aspects of carry 20 plus blades. Just an idea, Corey

I use them on some lakes in the northern part of Michigan, I have good luck with the Baby Bass 1/4 once with red gamakatsu hooks. Spring and early summer produce the best, stike king makes ome nice small lipless baits too, the diamond shad. Corey
