  1. I feel like a lot of people fish the ned rig on too heavy of a rod. I see a lot of people fish it on a medium spinning rod. For me my all time favorite ned rig rod is a Kuying Teton 6'6" light action rod. It has a moderate fast action, and will bend deep when fighting big fish. I very very rarely have fish come off with this rod. I match it with a Tatula LT 2000, 8lb braid, and 8lb fluoro leader. It's a very sensitive rod and has the perfect tip. It's crisp, but doesn't have too fast of a tip. I have caught many 2-4lb SMB, and a few 3lb LMB on it, keeps them pinned.
  2. Those rods are nice.
  3. I have firsthand experience with the LTB 6’8” mh rod, I owned one. I sold it because it was the worst balanced rod I have had. I had a Curado K on it, and it was so tip heavy it would give me wrist problems at the end of the day. I also have a 6’6” Premier M, that I kept because it feels better than the LTB rod. The LTB rods are beautiful, and put together really well, but that model was not for me.
  4. Every issue I have ever had has been cleared up very easily, and I have been very satisfied with every out come.
  5. These are excellent hooks that come in smaller sizes. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Gamakatsu_Offset_G-Lock_Worm_Hooks/descpage-GOGL.html
  6. That's my frog rod too. It's killer! You could find a Curado K in that range.
  7. Homie, how about some punctuation please.
  8. Not sure if you use eBay, but there are usually some available. I still buy them on occasion. Referring to the humpback Rebel.
  9. I have been since I was a young kid. They catch fish for sure. They have a distinctive wobble. I am a Rebel fan in general. I love the Rebel Humpy crank too.
  10. I agree, I think the names they use are pretty funny. From what I see none of them are particularly sexist. Some are maybe a little too much for what many people view as a "family" sport, but I personally am not offended. I am a little surprised someone hasn't complained about it, I know there are quite a few religious members on here. The old package they used to use is pretty wack, but they got rid of that.
  11. I can see the beaver tail comparison. A spicy beaver in dirty sanchez.....come on.
  12. Yeah it’s pretty obvious by this Old packaging, and some of the other names they have That someone over there is a little dirty minded.
  13. Ah....I got it. I thought you were talking annuals (plants) for a minute. Just a typo.
  14. Really? I've never seen an original bag.
  15. Sweet Beaver.....Why call it a "beaver" I always thought it was maybe "dirty" sounding, but it has become a standard name for that style bait. It certainly doesn't look like a beaver that makes dams.
  16. Hmmmmm, mine is two years old and tight and as sharp as it was when new. Maybe you got a bad pair?
  17. Ned Rig, Original floating Rapala 2 3/4" and 3 1/2", and Neko rig.
  18. I see a bunch of old Rebel minnows! Great as jerk baits, top water, and on a steady retrieve. You have some nice colors there too.
  19. I use an IMX-Pro 842c JWR for 3/8oz DS, and it works great.
  20. Excellent rods for the money. I haven't fished that model, but others have been great.
  21. The good news for you is jumping up to the the $200-250 Daiwas would blow your mind too. The SV tw, and the new 2020 SV tws are so killer. Give one or both a try.
  22. The caption says that she is holding a walleye in a photo from her facebook page to show they are avid fishers.
  23. half a leg with a few treble hooks.
