my fishing gloves get nasty
I hate wearing sunscreen so I try to wear long sleeves. However the other day my hands did get pretty red. Since then I’ve been thinking about some gloves. My biggest concern is that it seems like your hands would always be wet. No?

Can't seem to find anything about this lure since the early 2000s :(
Caught my biggest bass last year on probably a 15 year old T1 spinnerbait. It was still in new condition, just never touched water yet. Lost it shorty after. Went in a slight depression when I found out they weren't made anymore.

Interesting. I've dealt with them once last year and was pleased. I have a direct email to a guy that I messaged yesterday. We will see how things go.

Best technique to catch trophy bass
- Help identify this jighead
No clue but I'm 99% positive I have one in a tacklebox somewhere. LOL- Second Pass Lure?
I'll work an area twice. Normally slower the second time with like a wacky worm. Just me, far from an expert.- Why do you hate bed fishing?
I'm guessing mostly two reasons: 1) There's less sport in it. 2) You are taking away what is guarding the eggs/fry which is the future.- Neko vs Shaky vs Wacky vs Ned vs Free rig vs ...
My favorite retrieve is, cast it out, let it sink to the bottom. Notice that your line is wrapped around the tip of your pole. After about 20-30 seconds after figuring out which way it was wrapped around, you begin to reel a little and bam, "fish on!". 60% of the time, it works every time.- Neko/Shaky rod
Looking to buy a high quality spinning rod this year. I have a pretty nice spinning rod (Legend Elite) that I currently use for Ned rigs but it's a ML. I figure I need to step it up to a M for a Neko/Shaky type rod. I've been searching the web and the NRX+ 852S JWR and NRX+ 872S JWR get really good reviews. Which of these rods do you think would be better suited? I don't fish very deep water but that could change if and when I get a boat. Other rods that would compete? I'm only looking to buy 1, maybe 2 combos this year so I don't mind something in this price range. Thanks!!- Best reel for fishing frogs
I have a Curado that's a good 15 years old. Works perfect. I don't think you have to spend high dollars just tossing a frog around.- The latest sale thread
What the heck, thinking about purchasing a rod and they were tops on my list. Bought a rod from them last year and had a pleasant experience.- Neko vs Shaky vs Wacky vs Ned vs Free rig vs ...
What do you think the difference was? Bigger presentation?- A helping hand
I've been on the other end of things. I dumped my kayak last summer trying to free up a bait, WHOOPS in I go. There was a guy, within 50 yards of me that never checked on me or yelled if I needed help. Luckily I was able to stand in about 4 feet of water, but I'll never forget that SOB.- Neko vs Shaky vs Wacky vs Ned vs Free rig vs ...
I still consider myself fairly new to green bass fishing. I'm not a rookie but I still have a ton of learning. As the title somewhat alludes, there seems to be many choices when it comes to this "category" of bass fishing. Almost too many. Neko Shaky Wacky Ned Free rig Is there a time and a place for ALL of these? For example, in my nonexpert eyes, I see no reason to throw a shaky head over a neko. But I was on Omnia a little bit ago and a guy gave a review and said he was alternating between the two. Is there much of a difference?? So, what, why and when do you throw some of these? FYI - I've fished the wacky worm and the ned rig quite a bit so far. Best way to not get skunked. Fished the free rig some with a bell sinker last year and zero to both the neko and shaky. That WILL change though. THANKS!- Lures for winter?
Blade baits like the old school Silver Buddy. I used the Damiki Vault in late fall with good success.- Expectations too high or a common trend?
I guess I'm wondering what colors you are using as well as the water clarity. Might have something to do with your struggle. There has to be a reason you are striking out that much. Other than that, I don't think I've ever been skunked with a ned rig and a wacky worm. I look forward to your future success.- A Fishing Day Like No Other (A Short Story)
Last weekend I went fishing in the kayak. I have six vertical homemade rod holders. I was throwing a spinnerbait when I noticed that a lure came out of the hook keeper and was dangling around. I literally said out loud, "Maybe the Lord wants me to throw this". First cast right into a tree. $15 swimbait. Gone. Sometimes I think the Lord tests me. Like daily.- can you fish where you work? office?
Midnight stocking. EZ fix.- the Mepps Black Fury #3.
Still have some from back in the day. Pike, smallmouth, walleye, you name it. She's a classic.- The latest sale thread
Hold up, wait a minute. Are you saying you ordered ONE rod, and got EIGHTEEN of them? LOL, what the heck!- Crankbait Circle Hook
Respect for the experiment and sharing the results.- What’s your favorite rod manufacturer ?
Have to say Megabass.- Additional Fees Ordering JDM Stuff
Soooooooo who's going to be the guinea pig? LOL- Loomis GLX jerkbait rod
Absolute PERFECT timing. Lol I’ve always thrown the standard sized 110’s until last night. I went to a very local, very small lake with my son last night. I tied on a 110 jr hoping to catch some crappies or bass. I honestly wasn’t sure myself how it would handle the jr but it did just as well as the normal size. the reel I have it paired up with is the 24 Shimano SLX. There’s no way you can beat this reel for $110. Zero chance.- Loomis GLX jerkbait rod
I’ve never touched the JDM version so I really can’t voice an opinion. It’s just a fun rod to fish with. - Help identify this jighead
