Keep it how you currently have it. Most people like the 7 gears for all purpose applications. I do anyways, and the 6 are good cranking reels. This way you’ll get more use out of the dc as well!

The fuego ct and tatula ct were pretty much the same but the tatula 100 is an improvement in my opinion

The internals of the tatula 100 are more beefy then the fuego. The tatula 100 is more improved since the release of the fuego ct.

That’s what she said I second the Scorpion MGL. Ive got two and love the heck out of them. Cast just as far if not further as my Curado k reels and it can cast lighter lures better. It’s a no brainer!!!!!

Just picked up the brand new Zodias 172Heavy and it’s a dope rod, says it’s a fast tip but it’s more of a mod fast. Very noticeably Lighter then the Evergreen combat stick 7’3 heavy for comparison. Lure rating is 1/4-1 1/2 I think so it’s a fairly versatile heavy rod.

Okay first things first, please start using periods and commas, I’m running out of breath. Second is your leader knot catching your guides while casting? I feel like you don’t really have the brake shoes on and your tension is cranked down. Either that or your just bashing the curado?

I just had a Tatula 100 opened up last weekend and I was impressed with the build of it over the Fuego. I’d go Tat 100 all day.

Is the 7'2 a mod fast rod and the 7'1 just a fast?

The rods look and feel great, I to am interested in picking one up and would like to know how they perform.

Is there any line stick between the spool and frame? Might be hard to tell but is it stopping roughly at the same distance everytime? Process of elimination, check brakes, tension knob, are the bearings overgreased and so on. Clearly it sounds like something is hindering the casting distance of the reel so you just have to locate what.

Guys take this to the DM’s. We came here for the 2020 metanium, not who can skip the dishes better with what brand of reel. The handle on the JDM looks nice, love how they changed the end caps on it. Nice refreshing look. Are they like the curado 70 knobs?

You could always check out the new curado k reels, awesome reels. If price isnt an issue you can also look into the bantam mgl. They are solid reels and make a great crankbaits reel.
