  1. I think someone said you have to spend $150+ (not sure if accurate). And then when you go to your cart/check out, scroll to the bottom and you'll see the option to add it to your cart. Or you can spend $5 more instead and get a hat or long-sleeved shirt.
  2. If you add to your cart, look in your cart and you'll see the price difference. Also big news!! For the free t-shirts, you can now get it in black with red/white logo!
  3. Awesome. Thanks fellas. I have the 6" bone Bull Shad & the BBZ-1 50 in my TW cart. ?
  4. Those Jitterbug and Heddon t-shirts are great.
  5. Thanks. What size Bull Shad do you throw?
  6. Hey guys/gals. So I'm looking to get one of the Bull Shad/Bull Gill and a BBZ-1 Rat. I'm just curious what your thoughts are on these baits. The sizes. The sink rates (or do you prefer floating versions). I live in WI, so we aren't dealing with double-digit bass often. But I'd still like something a little bigger to get those bigger bites. I was thinking about getting the Bull Shad (slow sinking) in the bone color. Tackle Warehouse only carries it in 6". What's your opinion on the 6" vs the 7"? But then I got to thinking since bluegill is the more prevalent prey of the bass around these parts, maybe I should go with a Bull Gill? I haven't heard much about these, where as the Bull Shads have a very good reputation, as I'm sure you know. As far as the BBZ-1 rat goes, any thoughts on size? Was deciding between the 40 and 50. What about colors? I've heard some good things about Morning Dawn, even though it looks more like an alien life than an actual rat. Lastly, any rod/reel recommendations to throw these baits? Appreciate it!
  7. You're not kidding. I like fishing the bigger size Big Bites Suicide Shad around here. It gets me some bigger bites. Unfortunately, the pike love them as well.
  8. Thanks for all the recommendations guys. It's much appreciated. What's your ideal gear ratio for this technique? Something in the 5's or 6's?
  9. Hey guys. I'm wanting to get a setup that'll fish the Ned rig nicely. I primarily fish with baitcasters. And the few spinning setups I have are a little heavier. What size rod do you recommend? Medium? Med/Light? Action? What about reel size? Ratio? I'd like to stay around $175-$200 total. Appreciate it.
  10. Shoot, the link I got this from said "Cabelas Black Friday 2018". but this year Friday is the 23rd. Sorry guys. ?
  11. Mostly weedless for me, unless I'm fishing rocks for smallies. And when you wanna add some flash, these are killer. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Owner_Flashy_Swimmer_with_CPS_2pk/descpage-OFSCP.html
  12. Yeah, I should have read the details. It's only in-store, and starts at 5am and goes for 5 hours while supplies last.
  13. Speaking of Cabelas, you can get the Abu Garcia REVO SX for $79.99 (reg. $159.99) on Black Friday. And thank YOU for this, otherwise I would have jumped on it and TBH, I really don't NEED it.
  14. You beat me to it. The hook-up ratio on these are GREAT. A black Scum Frog was responsible for the majority of my frog fish this year, and I throw the other brands too. The Pro Series is the best of the Scum Frogs. They also come with a rattle on the inside. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Scum_Frog_Pro_Series_Frog/descpage-SFPS.html
  15. Are you planning on cranking in deeper water? Flouro will help get the crankbait down deeper than mono.
  16. I picked up 5 pair of these this year after recommendation from someone here. They're not waterproof, but they're quite warm and very cheap. If they get too wet, I just throw another pair on. https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/white-river-fly-shop-fingerless-fleece-gloves
  17. Winter blues definitely setting in here in WI. Our river fishing is open year round, so I'll usually get back out in late March. I tell myself every year at this time that I'm going to move south a bit. Hasn't happened yet.
  18. I really like how 6th Sense got started. Can skip to the 4:00 mark if you like.
  19. ALX rods are 15% for the month of Oct. Use code FB15OCT18 on their site.
  20. Yeah, it's just what has worked best for me. Not saying I don't catch fish on spinnerbait in murky water, and vice-versa.
  21. Usually spinnerbait for clearer water and chatterbait if the water is murky.
  22. Definitely mono if you also plan on fishing any top water with it.
  23. Are you saying the line itself snaps sometimes? For frog fishing, you should use braid if possible. And pike can definitely be the culprit if you're getting bit off.
  24. I throw these as much as a Keitech nowadays. I love the little wobble they have as well.
  25. Same here. But I'm always curious how much different the water temp is at 10 ft....20 ft...etc.
