  1. What are you loving about it? I've been wanting to give it a shot, but with the pike in my lakes I know they'll tear it up eventually. Tho I guess that doesn't stop me from throwing Jackhammer's and 110's. ?
  2. I own 6'11 Levante Jerkbait Special, 6'11 Med+ Poison Adrena as well as the 6'10 M Expride B. I just got the Expride B this winter so I haven't actually fished it yet. But just playing with it in hand I think it'd work great for the techniques you mention. I have a Curado 70 MGL on it and I can't put into word just how amazing that setup feels. The Adrena would also do well, but obviously at a higher price. If you're stuck on staying at 6'10 or shorter, and don't wanna pay a bunch, check out the 6'9 MH/Mod-Fast Major Craft Benkei.
  3. Easily my favorite compact (and overall) spinnerbait. Another good one is Z-Man Sling Bladez Power Finesse.
  4. Going on day 85 here in the north. Lost taste in my knee.
  5. Do you close your bail by hand after a cast?
  6. They do have a few colors of the Ziggy in stock, but I'm assuming you know that.
  7. I haven't used them on a-rig yet. Just as stand-alone and as swim jig trailer. But yeah, for being as soft as they are, they really are durable. Same with the Jenko Booty Shaker.
  8. Still debating getting that reel. Like you, I don't NEED it, but.. Can't say enough good things about those new YUM/Scottsboro swimbaits.
  9. What are you waiting on?
  10. I believe @MN Fisher has some Fury's and is happy wit them.
  11. If you wanna stick with Megabass...the Orochi Diablo.
  12. I did buy an iRod Genesis once. Bub's punch rod. Great rod. I've since replaced it with the 7'11" Expride. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another iRod tho. I was eyeballing the Air series a while back.
  13. Gambler Boxer Craw trimmed down.
  14. I feel like this is profiling due to my profile pic. ?
  15. Maybe drizzle a little melted garlic butter over it, and you're set.
  16. Keitech Tungsten Football Jig with 3" Daminki Air Craw. I trim the trailer a bit to make it more compact. The claws float and really make the jig stand up. Larger jigs I like the 4" version.
  17. In cold water- 3" Zoom Critter Craw trimmed to your liking.
  18. YOLO! (do the kids still say that??)
  19. No. As of this morning they had some regular rods/reels and some baits. And some apparel. They had some Omen Black 3's in casting and spinning. I own the 6'10 ML spinning and it's a great rod at it's price point ($120). Even better at $72.
  20. It seems they mainly focus on their 2 rod models now. I still have a few packs of their Reaper Craws, which were great trailers for finesse jigs. I actually got them at Cabela's 2-3 years ago. Now it seems the only place you can get them are on eBay.
  21. Been using this Piscifun for 4 years now with no issues.
  22. Oh shoot. I thought it said it on there. Fish307.com
  23. As a kid first getting into fishing I watched the same as a lot of you. Winkelman, Linder, Houston, Dance, Martin and Parker. But I think where I really learned a lot was reading In-Fisherman and Bassmaster Magazine. All I wanted for my bdays were lures and a subscription to one of those two magazines. I also enjoyed Fishing Facts, Field & Stream and Outdoor Life. But the other two were just one a whole other level for me. I also had 2 Doug Hannon VCR tapes that my mom bought at a rummage sale that I completely wore out. I swear for one summer straight I watched them every single night.
