shimano curado green reel
Yeah? After browsing Ebay, they are in much better condition cosmetically than what I've seen on there. I don't remember how well they cast etc last time I used them. I'm sure they need to be lubed up. I'm not seeing any of the Bantam CU-100B's on Ebay. Are these more rare? I do see a few of the Bantam CU-200BSF's.

shimano curado green reel
After seeing this thread, I dug through some boxes because I swore I had a few old Curado's somewhere. Found 3 of them. Two 100B's and a 200B. I know I bought the 100's some 23 years ago. Haven't seen action for quite some time. Am I sitting on a gold mine here... or a land mine? ?

I do like the Strike King and 6th Sense version of these. Now Strike King just came out with a shallow Hybrid Hunter that runs 1-3'.

MB Vision color patterns
Megabass has some of the nicest finishes around. I never bought any of the respect/limited colors myself. I do have the firet They do make a TON of colors. I'm sure they have a handful of colors that outsell the rest, by a large margin.

Bass Pro Shops XPS Lazer Eye The Egg
I did place a small order late last night. Got both sizes in The Egg (Fire Crawdad and Chart. Black Back) and 2 of the Super Shallow Cranks (Peral and Chart. Perch). Thanks again everyone. It has been years since I really bought any BPS baits. I think the last thing I bought from them was the Tornado spinnerbait.

How do they compare to the SPRO Fat John 50? (if you've used it) Obviously the SPRO is a flatter profile. Also the Fat John is silent, so I guess there's that.

Opinion on reel condition
I try to take care of them. While in my locker they all have reel covers and rod sleeves. When I'm using them, I'll sit them down gently on my deck, not throw them down like I see some people do. If they get any kind of rash, so be it. Reel and rod covers go back on at the end of the fishing day. This stuff isn't cheap. Nothing wrong with wanting to keep your stuff looking nice (as much as possible, at least).

They are solid reels for sure. Everyone is different. I haven't had the cramping issue LS mentions above. I'd say my hands are average size.

Thanks for the reply! I'll definitely get both sizes then.

I have a BPS gift card that's burning a hole in my pocket. I remember seeing some people mention this bait in the past. I have no experience with this bait. For those who have fished it, do you have a preference between the 2" and 2.5" version?

No idea. I'm not a fan so I don't own any. I know there are folks here tho who really like them.

Kistler Chromium Reel
They just dropped today. And they definitely have the weight listed wrong on their site then. That, or the the 5.8 oz claim was wrong? I'm guessing the website is wrong, tho.

Interesting that when you click on "Visit the Daiwa Store", it takes you to a page that looks like a completely different Daiwa company.

Spinning reel braid Recommendations
Ah, gotcha. I did discover that site a while back. I noticed shipping was pricey but when contacted they said they'd negotiate prices.

Can I ask where you order from? I found some on ebay but it's $27 for shipping.

Kistler Chromium Reel
Where you seeing 5.8 oz? On their site they list both models at 7.3 oz. I assume that has to be wrong?

Kistler Chromium Reel
Oh, sure. Either way..

Kistler Chromium Reel
They literally just released them, so I doubt you'll find anyone with any hands-on experience with them. Surprised to see the 100 size and 200 size weigh the same. Could be a nice reel, but it's always hard for me to spend $250-$300 on a reel from a company that just got into the reel business. But I guess they have to start somewhere.

I always said I'd never buy any Googan Baits. That was until I saw the Rattlin' Neds. Nice option to have in stained water.
