Yup. I mentioned that in my previous post. That's what got my attention.

How do you repair a hollow body frog?
If you have any tears in the frog (up here pike can be pests) Mend-It works well to repair the slices in the plastic.

TFO (Temple Fork Outfitters) Tactical Elite Casting Rods??
Thanks. I think Ben Nowak uses them but he's also "sponsored" by them. I was just curious because they're regular $200 but Sierra has them marked down to $100 right now.

TFO (Temple Fork Outfitters) Tactical Elite Casting Rods??
I'm always looking to try new rods out. I was on TFO's website looking at their rod specs. Their 7'3 med-heavy Tactical Elite casting rod is listed at a mere 3.9 oz. By comparison, my 6'11 med+ Poison Adrena weight 3.7 oz. My 7'1 med-heavy Kistler Helium weighs 4.11 oz. I'm just finding this very hard to believe. Anyways, has anybody uses these rods by any chance? Thoughts? Thanks!

How much do you spend a month on tackle?

This sounds like an infomercial.- The Bait Monkey
- Who uses a dropshot rod that is under$150? Which one is it?
Little off-topic, but I just got the Tharp Hammer casting rod. I've been wanting to add a few "cheaper" utility rods to my lineup. And man, this rod seems like it should be priced much higher than $130 ( I think I paid $110). If feels great in hand and looks like a much more expensive rod.- The Bait Monkey
- Abu Fantasista rod?
Not sure what Tackle Tour was talking about then. 5.3 oz does seem quite heavy for a rod with that rating/price. Just so you don't think I'm lying/crazy/dumb/blind/younameit.- Abu Fantasista rod?
Tackle Tour gave these good reviews. Well, specifically the 7' med-heavy. My only issue is the weight. It comes in at 5.3 oz, which is quite heavy for a rod that size. They do say it feels more like a heavy power rod than a med-heavy, and that it balances quite nicely FWIW.- The Bait Monkey
I have no idea what you're talking about. ?♂️This is all mostly reserves. Needless to say my buddies come to me when they need something. The amount of plastics I have in the Sterlite containers alone is probably enough to last me a lifetime. (wait, that'd mean I'm not catching much...haaha)- The latest sale thread
Oh really? Good to know.- The latest sale thread
With a code you can get 15% off at Omnia all the time. Don't think it works for rods/reels tho. Midway USA is another good one.- Which craw lure should I choose
Of those 4, Rage Craw is my favorite overall. But personally if I'm fishing really clear water, I usually reach for something with a little more subtle kick. In that case, the Z Craw or Adrenaline Craw would get my vote. Not to mention they'd slide thru that eel grass better than the Rage Craw, which has bigger, wider kicking flanges/claws. But if the water is more murky, give me the Rage Craw all day.- Powell Naked series
Cool...thanks! Do you happen to know the actual weight of your model?- Powell Naked series
Curious if anybody has ever handled/fished these before. Looking for opinions. Thanks!- “side to side play”
If I'm pitching I like a lot of play in the spool. And if I hit a dock post while doing so, I end up calling myself some bad names.- Megabass Sleeper Gill
You have a chance to fish those Savage Gear baits yet? If so, what size did you get and do you like them? Thinking about trying the 4" guy...- Megabass Sleeper Gill
Proof that this bait works. Few weeks back I threw the Sunshine Gill color with no luck. One bite but didn't hook up. Yesterday was a different story. Fishing some thicker weeds in 10' of water. Just swimming it and popping it free when it'd get hung up. Pumpkinseed color. Caught 6 bass and a pike in a 45 minute span. A few of them really committed. I think every one of them knocked slack in the line. They'd hit it and run straight at me. Few times I wondered if I had missed them. Before and after:- Shimano World Pop
Glad I'm not the only one who sleeps with my lures.- Official ICAST 2022 Post...
Again, not sure how the new Tatula XT rods are only $99.- 6 years in the making and FINALLY my new PB
Congratulations! That's a beautiful fish. - Can I take the shine off?
