Bass do eat eels. I know in Cuba all the fishermann use is live eel or home made 15" worms. They cant afford anything else.

Cause it's not the same lure! I asked about the Killer Bill Minnow. The one I used is the Super Killer Bill.
  11. I think the price is around $45. Well worth the money!

I figured that not to many guys know about this lure. At least you know! I have used the super killer bill but haven't caught any bass with it. I caught 3 big chub (Leuciscus cephalus) though (5-6lb.) It has amazing action, suspends on the spot and if you twitch your rod it actually walks the dog under water. Really cool! These lures should be good for cold weather! I'm real Japan Tackle junkie. Have you used any of the following crankbaits: Evergreen Super Predator, Imakatsu IK-250 and IK-180, Nories Worming Crank Shot and what results did you get. Check out this web-site if you haven't allready: www.ichibantackle.com Thanks for the info! JAPAN TACKLE ROCKS!!!

  16. Thanks alot! Did you fish the Senko weigthless and which color did you use? Thanks!
  17. I caught quit a few bass in early spring at the mouth of rivers and creeks. Use stop and go or twitching it like a pencil bait. deadsticking also works! I think the Anthrax 100 is great!

Have any of you guys used the Imakatsu Killer Bill Minnnow (Japanese Bait) and what are your experiences for catching Bass with it? Is it worth the money?
  19. I'm confused! Some guys say that Bass in winter mostly take large baits due to their metabolism beeing slowed down therefore they prefer large baits to make it worthwhile their effort to move and not waste to much energy. Others say that bass prefer mostly small baits for the same reason as above (slow metabolism), because they can't digest big meals. Which is true??? The lake i fish very clear and deep with mostly rocky bottom. The water temp. is around 45. I can see quite a few bass around but they ignore everything! What should I use? I know I have to fish slow and I do that. I drag craws and other softbaits along the bottom (up to five minutes on one cast at times). Please help, thanks!

That's interesting! Pike have deformaties quite often. I heard of a guy that supposedly caught one with two heads! I dont know if it's true, it's pretty hard to believe!
  21. Europeans fish alot lighter then americans! probaly 20lb. max for pike plus a heavier fluorocarbon leader. The waters in Europe are usually very clear. MH to H rods.
