  11. Koz you know u can fish with me anytime next Spring but I realize my tournament days are over.i just had 4 level lumbar fusion in June and it’s a game changer.i’ll miss the competition but I look forward to slowing down and fishing for fun.I hope you can get the boat suitable for you so you can compete at the boater position because you have the competitive fire.Tight lines!
  12. I’ve fished Lanier since I was a kid. It’s a great bass fishing lake 9 months out of the year but these days I wouldn’t go near (Oceanier) we call it during the summer time.As @koz said conditions were brutal with boat traffic and heat. That lake is rough as a cobb in August and dangerous to boot.If I had to fish it i’d run up the river and try my luck with largemouth. No wonder so many zeros.
  13. We continue in prayer
  14. Nice haul!
  15. I caught a 29 pound flathead in bass tournament on Oconee throwing a Texas rigged pumpkin Zoom lizard dipped in jj’s Magic. I’ve since quit putting that garlic on there because of all the dang catfish harassment.

  20. 21-23 June I underwent L2-L3-L4-L5-S1 fusion. after 5 weeks my recovery is progressing well but the healing process is slow.Like @Captain Phil I was looking at a wheelchair and had no other options at this point.I’m 67 and should’ve had this done 8 years ago but was too hardheaded.Doctor says I should be able to fish in my bass boat again by November which is very encouraging but I understand things will be very different from now on and slow and steady wins the race.Good luck to all of you who suffer from severe back pain.
