  1. With all the screens on their boats nowadays i’m convinced at least one of the screens is just a TV to watch “I Love Lucy” when the fish ain’t biten..
  2. I’m hoping to get back up to Pickwick this October. It’s been too long since I’ve fished it.
  3. Looks like swimbait country.
  4. Lake Chatuge Ga/NC border lake was once 2/3 smallmouth and 1/3 largemouth until spotted bass were illegally stocked and as a result took over the lake. Every now and then a smallmouth is caught usually on the Ga side.Largemouth can still be caught but not nearly as plentiful as they were before the Spots were stocked. Chatuge is now known predominantly as a Spotted bass lake.
  5. I’ll bring the bass boat down to the lodge in September.
  6. I’ve got thorn locust trees on my property line down around my shop.Every Winter I’m grabbing the chainsaw and cleaning up their mess.I despise the heck out of em.They do make for a nice walking stick when you skin em down though.Everytime I think I’m rid of them they come back like flies.
  7. I used it for a couple years around 2010-12. I thought it to be a good line that handles well.
  8. I don’t always use a bead on a t-rig, sometimes they just like the click.i paint some sinkers black for clear water and use the unpainted brass in dirty water.just experiment with it in different situations.Sometimes they will eat a Carolina rig and won’t touch the t-rig and vice- versa.the brass and glass has been good to me in club tournaments when I’ve struggled to get bites so I always tie one on before I launch.
  9. I like a 6mm glass bead under a 3/16 brass sinker above Zoom speed worm.t-rigged.when they get on that thing I won’t put it down all day.4/0 straight shank hook
  10. I had Non Hodgkin Lymphoma on the spine 22 years ago and have much compassion for the both of you. As 12 pound said each situation is different but staying strong and keeping the faith is very important imo. I appreciate the updates and will continue to pray.

That was a good show. Wally’s friend Eddie Haskell was quite the troublemaker. RIP
  12. I’ve not heard of this until now. I’ve been using the bull shots for years and really like that they don’t hang up as much as round ones. Thanks for the information.
  13. I prefer the Water Gremlin bullet split shots. They are great around and through grass.
  14. Praying for you and your wife!
  15. Like puking up a pine tree
  16. Ott Defoe runs a Tracker tunnel hull boat and has done very well in it running way back in the rivers with it.it’s heavy duty style river rat ready!
  17. I haul so much gear and tackle I can’t stand 3 in my boat for fear of falling and busting my rear
  18. I’ve been running a TV-18 (2004) that I bought new.smooth running boat and no problems with the all welded hull.it’s a discontinued model but if I had to pick between a 17 and 19 i’d Go with 195.4 people is too many people on a 21 foot bass boat for bass fishing.now if you’re hole fishing anchored over a Crappie hole you can get by with fishing 4 but expect to be crowded.
  19. Zoom trick worm . When they short strike I trim them down with scissors.
  20. Sorry for your loss.Prayers sent.
