The lures you use...
I fish mostly from the bank. Quite often thru some awful underbrush. The less I carry (less chance of heart attack at my age ;D) the easier the going. PLUS not being able to break the bank on equipment. I have been using pretty much the same baits for an awfully long time. If I lose one, I replace it. I'll never match Catt in accomplishments (VERY few of us ever will) but I'll bet I own less tackle ;D!. Get a couple of top waters, couple of spinners, few types of plastics and jigs. Learn all of them really well and then decide how well you want to feed ol' banana breath ... As Ever, skillet BTW of course all of this just like everyone else's posts is just opinion

Setting the hook worm fishing
IMHO reel down takeing up the slack and then SET hook. Don't want to give them the chance to spit bait out or swallow it... As Ever, skillet

Fishing a ribit frog
I always thought that toads would be a great bait. It took quite a while to decide which one. After reading all the posts here and a lot of time at Bass Pro trying to make up my mind, late last summer I bought a pack of Ribbits and Gammi EWG 5/0 hooks. Didn't get much of a chance to use them before water temps. started dropping. Sure plan on trying them this season... As Ever, skillet

My Trophy Bass Creek... is no more
That really sucks on a bunch of different levels > :'(. I feel for you my friend. I had a small lake that I was just learning about and the owner stopped all fishing. He got scared of lawyers. "kill all the lawyers" Bill S. As Ever, skillet

Anyone else...
I fish fairly skinny water and have always depended pretty much on soft plastics and jigs (I will throw a top water any time place or temp ;D). I'll probably do the same thing this year. The types of baits that I would like to use more (toads, buzzers and rattle traps) I already have, just don't use enough. I'll be trying them this year (hopefully :-[)... As Ever, skillet

Shimano Symetre-> Front Or Rear Drag???
I have front drag on my Symetre 2500 and have no problem with it. Don't have personal experience with rear drag but have read on here that it is nowhere as smooth. Can't remember anyone posting good things about it... As Ever, skillet

What's A Good Beef Jerky Recipe?
If you get the Food Network, there is a guy on there (Alton Brown) that showed how you could make jerky. Go to their web site and find AB's show. His recipe should be on there. No personal experience with it though... As Ever, skillet

Have the Symetre 2500 myself. At $80 is the best quality to price IMHO... As Ever, skillet

castability of mono or flourocarbon on a baitcaster
Your choice in reels is right on the money (NO FLAMEING). Have always used original Stren and like it. Trying to decide what to upgrade to myself :-/... As ever, skillet

I Am Legend
If I remember correctly ;)the book wasn't just crammed with action and did have a "different" ending. I didn't see the one with Vincent Price (just can't picture him as the lead in that movie). Did see the one with Charlton Heston and did think "don't judge a book by it's movie". Hope they did it better this time... As Ever, skillet
