  10. As far as the girth goes, have heard 2 places. Right behind small swim fins on sides or at largest point of girth. One would make a lot of difference over the other. Which ones correct? As Ever, skillet

  16. Tony, don't mean for this to be a challenge to your post. If it is deemed to be too political, one of the moderators take care of it for me please. I lean farther left than what you probably think is OK. I have never had a problem with "Merry Christmas" don't now and don't think I will in the future. None of my friends that share my views do either. Remember, there are extremeists on both sides of the fence ... As Ever, skillet

  21. If you are talking normal Florida day time temps. I don't think there is any effect and no offense Hookemdown but I've fished some pretty cold temps. with no effect. I was under the impression that the sun's UV rays made it break down faster... As Ever, skillet

  23. This is not personal experience but from what I've read and heard don't know if it is worth the extra money to go with the Curado over the Citica. I have the Citica and couldn't be happier. If you are thinking of something above the Curado, another story entirely... As Ever, skillet
  24. Have used 12 lb. original Stren for a whole lot of years. I do a lot of bank fishing so the water is usually under 8-10 ft. and shallower so I don't have a problem with it having more stretch and less feel than other types of line. If you are just learning to use a baitcaster, mono is pretty forgiving. After a little learning curve on the mono you might have more info on what you want to use ... As Ever, skillet
  25. WELCOME to the forums!!! I have the Shimano Symetre 2500 and really like it. Have not handled the new Stradic that RW is talking about though... As Ever, skillet
