Let's see your dogs. (other pets too)
Our blue-tick beagle mix Dixie, she had diabetes the last 5 yrs of her life. We literally spent more than a car payment keeping her going with her prescription food and insulin. My wife isn't ready for another dog yet and we ended up with two adopted cats, Graycie the Russian blue and Roxanne the Siamese.

you fishing this holiday weekend?
I went yesterday for around 4 hrs and skunked, did good there two weeks ago. There wasn't many people around when I got there but I passed at least 50 kayaks working my way out of the creek back to my truck. Needless to say, Im hanging out at the house today.

you fishing this holiday weekend?
Im wanting to even though the lake I go to will be crazy busy. The weather is finally turning around here after close to a week of rain and 20+mph gust off and on. My ex-boss is wanting to go to a lake further away but is non-motorized only, no PWC or boats to worry about.

Thoughts / Prayers for my mom
She is in my thoughts.I had a stroke due to an accident a year ago May 27. I think the best nutrition to help with recovery for me was the high protein Ensure drinks, they brought me 3 a day.

Lunker in a Kayak?
I don't use a scale at all ,only a Ketch board, and I have quick access to it in a sniper air industries mount on a Blackpak. I sometimes will leave the fish in the net over the side but most times I simply use fish grips. My phone is tethered to my PFD with a Rogue tether so its also quickly accessed.

Footwear for a kayak
I have a few different kinds that are all good IMHO, NRS Boundary boots when its cold/cooler and when its hot Softscience. The Softscience are crazy light, comfy and drain well. https://www.ebay.com/itm/384885648440?hash=item599cf8ec38:g:xzEAAOSwbzBifUkK. Hank Parker was a big fan of Softscience as well.

Will High Gas Prices Affect Your Fishing?
I kayak fish so only need fuel to get to the water and back home and my normal lake is about 15 miles away. I still will probably go less though if gas gets to $6.

How big is this bass?
Hopefully you can get permission. The place I worked for close to 14 yrs had a small pond out front the was supposed to have fish in it. After being there 10 yrs I finally gave it a shot and it didnt disappoint. Needless to say,I was out there at lunch on most days. Our VP was fine with us fishing it and even asked how we could get rid of duckweed that came back every year.

More than 12 tons of trash removed from Lake Tahoe
I do my best to try and pick up some trash every time I go out. I especially try to pick up line that's stuck in trees etc. I never want to see any wildlife harmed.

Latest Catch Pics Thread
@TnRiver46 A trick I read about is to dunk the measuring board in the water first, not sure why but it helps and they generally will stay still. Ive had to re-situate them though which is fun when trying to get phone ready for pic and a left hand that partially works. Its all new to me though as this is the first tourney Ive entered.

Latest Catch Pics Thread
Had another great day kayak fishing, the 11.5" and 13" were caught on a Texas rigged Powerbait worm and the 14" was caught on a jig and craw trailer. Ive yet to find the 20"ers this year, hopefully soon. The carp/buffalo are still shallow and spawning and Ill be glad when they are done and gone.
