  1. Welcome aboard! 8-)
  2. Great game and a big win for Tennessee. Memphis lost touch and couldn't make 3s, then gave the game away at the line. The Vols took advantage of every opportunity and proved to a national audience, they will be a contender at the Big Dance. I hope the bracketing is arranged where we have a chance to see these teams play again, perhaps for all the marbles. Congratulations to the Tennessee Volunteers! 8-)
  3. I get everything that is printed from both BPS and Cabela's. My flyer hasn't come yet, either. I'm pretty sure we with both have one shortly. 8-)
  4. Now, I don't care who you are, that's funny! Get R' Done 8-)
  5. Man, the Possee has really shown up for this thread! http://unattributed.net/html/whiskey.html 8-)
  6. ;D ;D ;D WOW! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D 8-)
  7. Micro Munch Tackle El Gordo tube. I don't fish tubes shallow, but I could. I might have picked a Fat Ika or a Senko, but I never fish them with weight. If the question was "Which three lures...", these would be the three. 8-)
  8. I fish 90% of my soft plastics on 4/0 EWG Offset Worm Hooks. Some smaller tubes are fished on 3/0 EWG Offset Worm Hookss and I fish a few baits on a 5/0 EWG Offset Round Bend. With live bait I use 2/0 Octopus Circle Hooks for striper (gizzard shad, yellowtail and skipjack). #6 Octopus Circle Hooks for smallmouth (big shiners). 8-)
  9. Ande is THE fishing line for those seeking line records. As far as I know, this is the only line that is IGFA certified. Guys that do more saltwater fishing might know better than me, but I think Ande is also the line of choice for them. 8-)
  10. We have a similar problem setting a new State Record for smallmouth in this state. : 8-)
  11. Ain't that old...for a tree. :
  12. WOW! 8-)
  13. Did you guys overlook the pajama bottoms?
  14. And to think, Team Diapers calls us "Grouchy Old Men!" Get back on here Avid! 8-)

  17. Hmm... You have my attention. 8-)
  18. If you are asking about "all-around" equipment, this might help: Almost all your fishing can be done with one rod, spinning or baitcasting. I would suggest Medium Power/ Fast Action. This rod is especially suited for single hook lures. Two rods are better. The second would be Medium or Medium Heavy Power with a soft tip. This is the rod for ALL treble hook lures. After that, it's all about "want" and there is a lot to choose from. Application and your perception of sensitivity is VERY subjective. I fish high-end, technique specific rods because I enjoy collecting equipment that I consider "perfect" for a specific purpose. I do NOT "need" these rods to "catch" fish, but my "fishing" is more fun! 8-)
  19. Still nothing for you, but I'm fishing with some guys this weekend that might have an idea. Will keep you posted.
  20. Tickets can be found! "anywhere" for around $600, "good seats" about $5000-$7500! Sidenote: My daughter is a freshman at the U of M. A limited number of students get in free with their student IDs. Gates open at 5:00 for the game at 8:00 CST... OH! I meant to say, gates open at 5:00 AM and once in, you cannot leave and return! :
  21. The new Stradic FH has incorporated many of the features previoulsy only available on the Stella. The new Stradics are very nice reels, but they are not a "better" reels than the Stella FB. 8-)
