The Boga Grip can be certified, that's how good it is! If you have it certified, recorded weights will be recognized by the IGFA for state or World Records. 8-)

  3. Nice fish! 8-)
  4. Well, I'm not a b-ball fan, but I still like BIG events! Saturday night the #1 Memphis Tigers host #2 Tennessee Volunteers. This is hyped as the biggest athletic event EVER in Tennessee. So, even if you don't care about the sport or these teams, it's something to consider for Saturday night. (You can still tape whatever you're usually watching on the Lifetime Channel) : 8-)
  5. If you are just buying one: Rapala Husky Jerk, Blue & Silver: http://www.rapala.com/products/luresdetail.cfm?modelName=husky_jerk&freshorsalt=Fresh 8-)
  6. Every Saturday that TVA releases enough water, I fish the Tennessee River below Pickwick Dam. We had good water this weekend and caught around forty fish, but only eight smallmouth. If your question was really more about pond fishing, the bass are still slow, but starting to come on. The best producer right now is Rat-L-Traps. I might update this post later today, I'm heading out in a few minutes and will be fishing a VibraSpin this morning. 8-)
  7. Welcome aboard! 8-)
  8. Yes, they still do the plaza lighting every year. They flip the lights on on Thanksgiving night, and don't turn them off again until mid January. It's still one of the biggest events in KC around the holidays. I'm not sure I know exactly which hamburger place you mean, but the best three in KC are Fritz's (with the train that delivers your food), Town Topic, and Hayes Hamburgers. I thinks Sam is asking about Winstead's. http://www.winsteadskc.com/history.php 8-)
  9. Until all the discontinued St. Croix Avids are gone, these rods are the "Best Value". Even at full-bore retail, they are a great buy! 8-)
  10. Everyone has their "favorites" and that's the response you will ALWAYS get with a "What is best?" question. I fish Shimano reels. : 8-)
  11. Hmm... Isn't it odd that none of the girls could find a blouse that fits? : 8-)
  12. ;D ;D ;D WOW! ;D ;D ;D What a finish! I didn't think ANYONE could beat the 20 car with the lead and one lap to go... ;D ;D ;D WOW! ;D ;D ;D 8-)
  13. Hmm... I was thinking of something else. : 8-)
  14. Solution: Exchange the reel for a new one and inspect it closely at the store. Go over the reel with the Manager of the store or if it's a major retailer, whoever is in charge of the Fishing Department. The Citica is a great real which I think you will be VERY happy with. 8-)
  15. I doesn't matter what's wrong with the reel. Return it for exchange, period!
  16. We caught around 40 fish yesterday, but only eight were smallmouth. Good water below Pickwick Dam was key. You might want to try some big shiners on a split shot rig. : 8-)
  17. I have NEVER had any issues with Lucky Craft lures. However, I buy virtually all hard baits from BPS locally. If I ever have any problem with any brand I take it back for exchange. I have never been denied for any reason.
  18. 1... EVERYONE who fishes Sunline Shooter says it is THE BOMB! However, I have not fished the line. I'm happy with the low visibility of Yo-Zuri Hybrid. In the ultra-clear waters of Bull Shoals and the White River, Hybrid in green is virtually invisible and FAR more manageable than any fluoro I have fished. http://www.***.com/descpageLNESUNLINE-SSMIF.html For heavier line, ALL reviews for Sniper have been equally impressive. http://www.***.com/descpageLNESUNLINE-SLFCS.html 8-)
  19. Hmm... Guntersville, March 23-28? 8-)
  20. That is my EXACT set-up. Mine is spooled with Yo-Zuri Hybrid Ultra Soft #4 (.009" diameter, 8.5 lb test). 8-)
  21. I had good luck with Mattlures fishing open water near structure. I lather them up with MegaStrike. Bought the three-piece special for about $34 delivered. Note: my first set was a combination, Baby Bass, Smallmouth and Striper. I like the color pattern on the Bass the best. My second order was all BB. This lure weighs 1.3 oz and does not require special equipment. A Medium Heavy or Heavy Power baitcaster is all that you need. I fish Yo-Zuri Hybrid Ultra Soft #12 (19.5 lb test) on all baitcasters. : 8-)
  22. bud...bud...bud...Budweiser...bud...bud...bud...Budweiser...bud...bud...bud... 8-)
  23. If I could only fish one rod, this is the one. 8-)
  24. Relax, is the beer cold yet? This is NASCAR's Super Bowl!
