senko setup: casting vs spinning
For me it's all weightless soft plastics and some weighted, but for bigger weighted presentations, I'm fishing a baitcaster. 8-)

Crankin reel Question
You don't need a special rod or reel for occasional cranking. Whatever you are using for topwater will be just fine. 8-)

This lure has been producing big time for me.
I have been using the 3 1/2" Live Magic Shad as the trailer for the Sworming Hornet. This rig has been one of my few producers lately. 8-)

Nope. Same reels at a lower price. :

need a lot of input
List everything and start by selling the lot. I'm not really looking for anything and don't want to shut someone else out, but I might buy the everything if you want to send me a PM. Otherwise, post it AON. Then if that doesn't work, break it down into lure class as lots. You shouldn't have much trouble if your price is right. For high end lures, I would think 40-50% of retail; for generics, 25-30%. Good luck! -Kent 8-)

Suggestions For Deep Water Crankbaits
I have used them to troll for striper, but they are to hard to "fish". :-[

Suggestions For Deep Water Crankbaits
I own DD22, Fat Free Shade and LC Stacy. Probably need some Rapala DTs and Hellbenders. Anything else you all can recommend. BTW, Which DTs? 8-)

senko setup: casting vs spinning
Spinning tackle. Regardless of how good you are at casting a baitcaster, sooner or later a Senko goes airborne creating a the birdnest from hell! It's not worth it to me. 8-)

Revo owners please respond
I received the SXT as a gift two years ago and have fished it extensively. I think there are better alternatives at the pricing point. :

St. Croix rods...?
I have four Avids and two Legend Elite. Maybe that makes me a St. Croix fan! Get the Avid series, they are fine rods. The components are top grade, the craftsmanship is outstanding and the company prides itself in quality control (an issue with some of their offshore manufacturing). Also, "Made in the USA". 8-)

US Reels
Then just buy a Shimano Symetre or for a little more, the Stradic 2500CI4. These are top of the class at their pricing point. I owned the first US Reel when they were made in St. Louis. They REALLY sucked then and I doubt they're any better today. 8-)
