  1. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  2. I will take junebug any time. The only time black/blue works for me is with a jig in murky water. I can't get a bite with black/blue soft plastics on a texas rig.
  3. Happy birthday. I will be in the 75 club in a little over 3 years. Happy birthday to the that young snot nosed brat that just turned 40.
  4. Hope they find something to help her get well soon.

  7. When we ate out there were only a few restaurants we would go to. We finally had to quit going to Cracker Barrel. The food and service were both terrible. Bob Evans is another one we quit going to due to terrible service. On the rare times we do eat out now we go to Sonnys BBQ once in a while but we go to Culvers more than any of them.

  9. I have a 1998 Bass Tracker 175. It has a fuse panel by the drivers seat. I have had the front panel out on mine and it did not have any fuses behind it.

  12. It is rare to be fishing clear water around here. I use the Zoom Finesse Worm Texas rigged on a 1/0 hook and 1/16 ounce sinker. Some times I use it on split shot rig.
  13. I should have added in my other post I rig the Baby Brush Hog on a 2/0 offset round bend hook with an 1/8 ounce sinker on a baitcaster. I get a lot better hook up ratio with them than an EWG hook.
  14. The Baby Brush Hog should be fine as well as the Tiny Brush Hog. I have caught 2 LMB, 2 SMB, and1 Spotted Bass recently on the Tiny Brush Hog. I fish it Texas rigged with a1/16 oz sinker pegged and a size 1, not 1/0 Gamakatsu offset round bend hook on a spinning rod.
  15. I have the Brush Hogs in several colors but I don't use them a lot. I like to use them when the water is murky and low visibility to have a bigger bait that is easier for the fish to find. I have caught a few on them but I catch a lot more on the Baby Brush hogs.
  16. @gimruis the first spinning reel I bought was a Shimano. In the paperwork it showed it recommended the line being put on this way. @Glenn has also done a video to put it on this way. I only use mono on my spinning reels. No braid or floro. Once I learned what to do and not do to avoid line problems it has worked very well doing it this way.

  18. I have one like @rgasr63 has. For baitcasting I have the line coming off the top. For spinning reels I turn the spools over and let the line come off the bottom. I leave my reels on the rods.

  22. We have Kentucky Afield down here. It is the same type of show. It has been on since 1953.
  23. My fishing this year has been very poor but I haven't ben able to fish very much. Haven't caught anything with any size to it at all. My last trip out was about two weeks ago. I caught two Spotted Bass, one Largemouth, and one Smallmouth. The biggest was about 13" or 14".
