Same here. Ordered a Tatula Casting rod 6’6” MF. They didn’t charge me tax so cheaper than TW with price match.

I have both and prefer Daiwa. For me, I get longer casts and less backlashes with the Daiwa TW system.

I love my Topwater. For the money, one of the best out there for a pedal drive.

I have been setting up the Smokercraft with pole holders and lights for night fishing. I’ve added a 5 inch Humminbird sonar, pole and net holders, and a few other items to the Old Town Topwater. I have organized a few technique specific boxes: glide baits, frogs, and my largest deep diving crankbaits. My wife and I have been getting a lot done around the house: inside and out. We have had a good time being stuck together so to speak. We are trying to take this all in stride and do our part. I wish I could fish though, but the state has shut that down. Makes no sense we can’t fish.

Daiwa Tatula XT or Tatula if you can find a deal.

I like 3/8 to 1/2 in Dirty Jigs and 6th Divine in white or bluegill colors. I use a 3.8 or 4.8 Keitech in Ghost Rainbow Trout as a trailer. I typically throw these on a MH rod with 10-12 lb flouro.

65 lb braid is going to be the best for flipping. I flip jigs and creatures or a combo of both.

Washington State - stay at home order until 4/8 issued here. All parks and fishing are closed. My wife works for Starbucks in payroll, she has been working from home since early March. I work for an aerospace company that supports Boeing, we are only open due to military work. Skeleton crew. We laid off 250 people this and last week. That sucks. There is a huge push for unemployment benefits here, the system crashes, etc. It sucks not being able to fish. We got a 4 man tournament in last weekend - 2 boats, 4 guys, always 6 feet apart.

Could not agree more. Went fishing last weekend, 4 guys, 2 boats, always 6 feet apart. What’s the big deal? Fishing is a stress reliever!

6th Sense, Strike King, Rapala are my favorites, Berkley makes some excellent hard baits too.
