Not a torque - just a reversible that came in a mini-kit...no FT-LB settings or reading...no different than a plain Stanley in that regard.

Simple FFS Yes/No question

What a good drop shot rod under 100$ ?
Strong as any other rod in that price-class - personally I think the under $100 Daiwa rods are way under-rated. I'd pit a $50 Aird-X against any other makers $80-$90 rods - and the Procyons compare favorably with Dobyns Furys...yes, I have Furys and preferred my Procyon to my Fury 702 for Ned/DS.

What a good drop shot rod under 100$ ?
Daiwa Procyon 7'0" ML/XF - $80 or Daiwa Procyon 7'0" L/F - $80 - this is the rod I used for Neds and Drop Shots until I got my Mojo 6"10" ML/XF

Short-maintenance cycle year
As promised - PICS of a spinning reel being quick cleaned...this is my Supreme-30, but my other Pfluegers, my Miravels and my Avocet RZTs aren't significantly different. Spool comes off - just unscrew the drag and it pops off. The clicker gear is just held on by a friction retainer....pull straight up to remove both. At the base is is a nut-retainer like on the handle nut of casting reels...that has to be removed. Remove the nut and the rotor assembly pops right off. The white circle shows the screw under the rotor skirt that's one of the ones holding the sideplate on. The small plate that's there for 'some' reason along the back corner of the frame (circled in red) sometimes hide another screw (white circle) that has to be removed before the side plate comes off. Then just pull the main gear out. Clean the gears, touch of Cals to all. Quick rinse of the bearings with 91% Isopropyl, let evaporate, then a drop of oil. Re-assemble in reverse. Took about 20 minutes from start of dis-assembly to everything back together again. And it's smoother with more free spin when the handle is 'bopped' than before. Hope this helps you, Joe.

FG v. Alberto - Interference through spinning guides......??
When I'm prepping the night before a trip, I'll tie the FG knot...if I need to replace a leader on the water, it's the Alberto. This is even on light spinning tackle - 10# Sufix 832 to 6# InvizX. No problems with the knots going through the guides or even getting hung up on the spool - I run 8'-10' leaders to start, replace when they get to 4' or less.

Best Way to Post Pictures
Let me lead you through it - This is my Galaxy A-51 running Android 13 - but it's been the same since I got the phone and it was running Android 11 After you take the pic, tap on the circled image on the bottom left - that'll lead you to this screen Tap on the second icon from the left - looks like a pencil - that'll take you here. Tap on the 3 dots on the far right....that'll take you to Tap on Resize - and you get this. Choose your size and hit done - I like 1200x1600 for this - this will get you back here. You can drag the edges of the frame to crop the pic - then either Save as Copy or just Save.

Best Way to Post Pictures
Either from my desktop/laptop - or use the built in editing in my phone's/tablet's camera app to crop/resize.

Extra Charge For Fishing License
I get my license at the Spring Park BP - I think one year I got a tub of worms, but usually it's just the license.

Braided line connection to fluoro leader
^ I've got no swivel between them - despite what Hank says - just a knot. Find one that's reliable and that you can tie...and stick with it. There's several good knots out there for joining braid to FC.

Extra Charge For Fishing License
It's the amount they have to pay the credit card company for using the card...every transaction you do, Visa/Mastercard/American Express charges the business a % of the amount. Most companies write it off as 'cost of doing business', but government entities charge it back to the 'consumer' with the convenience fee.

Short-maintenance cycle year
First time I did a more modern spinner - took me a while to figure out that the last screw to remove the side-plate was under the skirt of the rotor - have to pull the rotor to get the side plate off now. Wasn't like that on my Mitchell 320 or Cardinal 562 - side-plate screws were all 'out in the open'.

Short-maintenance cycle year
Once the 'in use' reels are done - then I'll work on the 'back-ups'. 3 Casting, 5 Spinning Total arsenal - 15 casting reels, 13 spinning reels.

Short-maintenance cycle year
I'll post a couple pics For me, spinners are easier - been using them since 1968, casting only since 1981-2 - and I've always done my own maintenance...even as an eight year old - dad insisted that if he was buying me a 'good' reel, I'd have to take care of it. First 'good' reel was an Abu-Mitchell 320

Best Budget Spinner Bait
This was caught on a Strike King Banshee (DSG/F&S/Public Lands exclusive), 3/8oz, white/chartreuse - with a 4" Berkley Pit Boss in Skeet's Chartreuse Shad as the trailer. (Ya, it's my profile pic). They run about $5 each.
