Same here - hull is rated to 30hp, but the 25hp I have on it pushes Bass Trek to over 20mph...plenty fast enough.

Unfortunately it's not retroactive - older motors are still not required to have it if it wasn't included at time of purchase. Saying that - I retro-fitted one into the 25hp on Bass Trek...it's not a difficult upgrade, and it's less than $50 for all the parts needed.

When I took Sara out for her trips, she'd just stick her whole snout into snowbanks...searching for something I guess. Lab/Aussie Shepherd cross. 22 years since we lost her...and I still miss her.

I can just imagine what Tank and Kya would look like brown instead of tan and cream. 😃
