Well the model I had envisioned buying isn’t on TW. Not sure if they didn’t carry it over to the new Cara or TW only listed the models in stock.

I prefer a short arm with nickel willow rear blade. Personally the top blade has never seemed to make much difference. Most of my fish come in 1-3 feet of water

I keep hoping that falcon will put the full model list on their website but nothing yet.

I’d love to see the map pic since Barnett is my home lake. Interested to see who the “local” is. I do find it ironic that two guys viewed the map and one won the event but the other didn’t finish in the money. That event was crazy to say the least. Terrible weather and high winds

Not really a sale but now seems to be a great time to buy ebay auctions. I won a Smoke S3 KVD spinning reel for $57 which were selling for around $90 a month ago. Quite a few other auctions last night ended in the same result

Yea I think switching it around and throwing Texas rig on Cara and jigs on H3 will be the solution

If the new Cara is $50 better than the Expert it’s going to be a great stick. I have the old Cara, Expert, Helium 3, and Champion XP. I would say the XP is the least sensitive but the Helium is my least favorite. The XP fishes great. The Falcons are my favorites though. In my opinion the Amistad fishes lighter than its rated. I believe the stated range is 1/2 - 1 1/2 but it performs best on the lower end of that range. I’m going to be ordering a new Cara soon as well

I take that back he’s broken a few and self reported violations. Like being DQd for having his Marshall help push him off the sandbar and taking a penalty for throwing a cast before releasing the fish in last summers FLW tournament.

Nobody pushes the rules like Wheeler. That being said I don’t know if he’s ever broken a rule. He knows them better than anyone and will push the limit trying to gain a competitive advantage. He’s hardly a “cheater”

Daiwa has the best mag brake system and Shimano has the best centrifugal. Personally I prefer the magnetic for moving baits under 1/2 oz. I prefer the centrifugal for heavier baits and pitching. Therefore both brands have a place on my deck

Some of these companies have so many different line and leader options it will make your head spin. It would be nice if they provided more documentation on each product and how it differs from others in their line. Saying a leader line is a better leader than a main line is not all that helpful. Why? What properties make it different? Show us lab results
