Ed, where is the MU/Ole Miss game? KU Lawerence is getting time on special teams and a play or so late in the last game. I thought they would redshirt also with the depth and seniors we have at the position. Evidently his play merits playing time. We had 8 true freshman contribute which has to be appealling to recruits. GO BIG RED

I'm with Catt. No proof except I believe in it and my fishing buddies start to ask what I"m using and throw it back here please. I was introduced to Spike IT Chartruse Garlic while at Fork. Not sure if its the Chartruce Dye or Garlic taste/smell that worked, but I believe it worked. Hated the wind getting it on my boat. Ed I hate to discuss college football but to keep your thread going I'll give it a shot. I too was surprised that Missouri seemed sluggish. We can hope for a continuance of that when we head to Columbia for a night game. No surprises by me for Okie State or KState losses. KState was a little closer than I thought but expected a defensive show/and little offense for Auburn. Texas should have scheduled North Texas. Oklahoma got momentum and Texas has to have some question marks. Typical Colorado vs Colorado State. A Rams victory would have complimented the Michigan loss for my it couldn't of happened to nicer guys. Kansas did a good job against a MAC team some said would give them trouble. Iowa State didn't schedule so well either. Baylor was Baylor and I haven't read anything on the Aggies or Red Raiders. And if I must I'll finish with the Husker Report Card. Sam Keller QB B+ Managed the game well and was a great cheerleader for the running game. The Running Game A++ Looked like pre Frank Solich. Marlon Lucky National Offensive Player of the Week. (Oh and Ed 2 of the first 5 linebackers are from the KC metro) Special Teams A+ What an upgrade. 6 kickoffs into or past the endzone, trust me thats a big deal this year kicking from the 30. The 46 yard field goal would have given us presumed victories against Texas and Auburn last year. I realize that Nevada is not USC or Texas, but there was a lot of love in Huskerville on Saturday. I have a friend who has one and has enjoyed it. We were on the Missouri river drifting for walleye but he couldn't get back up the river against the current with his trolling motor. I threw him a rope to give him a tow back only to pull the nose of the boat under the water and swamp him. Be careful wasn't as funny then as it is now. GO BIG RED

I have told my wife many times in the past year of being a member of BR that if our churches would behave more like this membership we would have more people doing better things in their lives and the lives they come in contact with and ultimately a better world to raise our kids. Rod

It's Friday and I can hardly wait for tomorrow and opening Kick Off Nebraska vs. Nevada!! As I prepare mentally and emotionally for the upcoming season I'm excited to the point of being hard to be around. My secretary would just as soon have me at home with a day off as my mind is far from productivity at my office. So that brings me to my question, what do you all take to your tailgate parties? The menu for tomorrow will consist of Brats, Jalapeno Brats, Hot Links, Ribs, Potato Salad, and Chips. My wife will make some form of a cool desert and we will feed between 12 to 15 friends and family. As the weather cools I always make a crock-pot full of chili for chili burgers or chili dogs, btw it'll stand on its own as well. When we have Colorado at home me make Buffalo Burgers, When Kansas comes we have Chicken, Texas is beef, you get the idea. How about the rest of you fans? GO BIG RED

As of Monday the Lake was down about a foot or two since the highs of the late spring. I have fished the west side bank and trees with some success but AWESOME has not been in my Zorinsky vocab for several years. Rod
