Anyone else getting the baitmonkey itch?
I just made a decent seiberts order so I’m good for a bit. Its usually deep off season when I can’t fish that the urge to buy is the worst.

I bet, a outing like that in two hours. That’s the stuff I live for right there.

Pond dynamics?
I heard that. I maybe only caught two over 5. Since I never have a scale when I catch a good one.

Is the new Curado 150 MGL saltwater safe?
I believe I’ve read on shimano page that the k is salt friendly. Not positive though.

Zolo Skipper?
I haven’t mostly because I don’t really have any heavy pads or mats where I fish. But that’s what it was made for. I would have no problems doing it though. You can also call falcon the techs great to talk to.

Zolo Skipper?
Take a look at the falcon Cara eye crosser. It’s a 6’11” heavy 1/2-1-1/2. I’ve used one as a jig rod for most of this season. It’s fantastic. It’s worked great for every single hook presentation I’ve used it for from 3/8 jigs and jackhammers up to a 5.5” swammer on a 3/8’s 6/0 beast hook. You can literally count grains of sand with it. It would do everything you asked for and more. It’s a fast action, but by no means a broomstick. And it was made to be soft plastic toad rod in heavy veggies.

Lots of empty shelves I’m sure.

Am I In Tune?
Good write up. I also think it’s important to get to know your gear spend some time with it and know. what things in your local waters feel like. Like what a jig or t rig feels like when it comes through the veggies on your rod. Or what it feels lime to bump a log or rock. Not starting a sensitivity topic. Get to know whatever gear you have and what thing feel like on it. It’s all part of being in tune with what your doing.

Falcon Rods- Heavy Action
Give them a call. They are very cool and helpful. The tech’s out back would love to talk shop with you and point you in the right direction after you tell them what you want. It might end up being a completely different rod then you think.

Using lures the way they were not intended
I’ve caught a few using a weightless rage craw as a top water.

Learning to skip a baitcaster.
I skipped my jig twice by accident. It was awesome.

Keeping a kit in your vehicle?
Most of the season I keep a rod and small tackle bag in the work truck. Most of my fishing gets done a hour or two at a time after work. The bag stays there the rod I’ll grab on my way out in the morning.

Smoke color worms?
I’ve used them at night just because it was already tied on. It fought fish. So I didn’t change it.
