  1. I’ve only been fishing spinner baits since this spring and the z man ones have out produced others I’ve tried so far. The bluegill and spot remover work the best for me. In the dirty water the strike king midnight special works great. You can run that one so slow it’s unreal.
  2. Thanks for the info, I’ll have to check them out.
  3. Nice job, is it possible for me to get into making jigs/ spinner baits without pouring my own heads. Just to play with over the winter.
  4. Me to, I think I’m gonna stick with them for a while. I love the combo with the currado.
  5. Try going down to one break. 2 on the bottom and spool tension as needed. I can easily cast a weightless six inch u tail worm 40 feet on a 6’6” mh. I know that’s not super light or ideal but it gets it done when I only want to bring one rod.
  6. It took a little playing around when I got mine. I casted a few lures off. I found the spool tension wants to be a little tighter then you think. Put it on the setting they require for the line your using. The distance difference is not as big as you would think from the k. But it is effortless consistent distance. This is only my second summer using casting gear so at first the distance difference was noticeable, not nearly as much now. It’s still allot of fun on a crankbait rod or for any moving baits. That’s where I think it shines. Love to hear it sing.
  7. Good score. Sorry about your neighbor.
  8. I think a 6’6” medium fast spinning is the most versatile rod there is.
  9. Good for you man, sounds like a good morning.
  10. I’m a lefty, cast left reel right. Casting and spinning. Feels perfectly natural.
  11. I just started playing with them myself I have a keitec one I use with kietec trailer. Ran out of trailers and used a rage craw and still caught fish.
  12. I had the lunker hunter one. It was terrible fell apart after a few casts.
  13. I have the 30 and the 40. I love throwing them just haven’t caught anything with them yet.
  14. That’s a real bummer. Not sure what kind those are but the look pretty big. There’s something different lurking down below.
  15. Thanks for all the info guys. Nothing new really struck my fancy. I have a couple of the rats and the egg. I ended grabbing a few replacement spinner baits, some more rage craws/swimmers. Some heads for them and the Berkley version of the shower blows. Nothing exciting.
  16. Very cool, that’s a great day.
  17. Heading to bass pro to spend a gift card. Gonna grab some plastics and for some reason a wake bait is on my mind. I don’t know why it works that way.
  18. I don’t care how much they are or what else works as good. I’m happy to buy a couple packs any time I see them. The green pumpkin purple seems to work best for me, but I’ve tried to force the blue sapphire just because I can’t walk past it.
  19. I don’t have a favorite yet. I sure hope to next year.
  20. That thing sure is pretty
  21. Put them away for Christmas are you crazy.
  22. I have the both the k and the dc. The dc is definitely better on moving baits where you want to cover water.
