  1. Worst advice was spend the money on good quality gear. Then spend the rest of your money getting more of it.
  2. Sure, if we were at the bar having a few drinks I’d go with that.
  3. I really like the mh, I’m looking forward to the m. I’m gonna go for the combo with the currado k.
  4. As do I, I want another rod so I don’t have to switch up baits. I think I’ve talked myself into trying out the medium. I’m sure it’ll be a good rod to fit in the lineup somewhere.
  5. If I get it I’m gonna get the carbonlite 2.0 m/f 1/4-5/8. I really like the other two I have. I feel like it will be the sweet spot between my mh and m spinning.
  6. Thinking about my next setup. I find myself throwing allot of rage craws with little to no weight quite often. Also rage swimmers and kietecs on 1/8 heads. Along with other plastics. A few places I fish have little to no weeds. I have a mh/f casting and and dobyns 705cb along with m/f and m/mf spinning setups. I really think a m/f casting will really compliment the family. I almost feel like it will become my new bread and butter go to stick.
  7. Yeah, great info. Couldn’t have come at a better time of year.
  8. I only Have the small swaiver and it’s realistically to big for my gear. There’s just something about it that hypnotizes me, and makes me want to buy gear for glide baits.
  9. It’s amazing how exciting hooks and weights can be.
  10. In my opinion the carbon lite rods are great I’m pretty rough on my stuff and I haven’t broke one yet. I was thinking about getting a higher end rod but decided to stick with the carbonlites for now. Due to their durability. I don’t think you can go wrong for the price.
  11. I had the same problem, take some line off. Take a little at a time until it spools better.
  12. Bank fishing can be tough right now. You really just have to keep at it. They can still be shallow just not always when your there. I fish when I can, sometimes that ends up being the worst times and conditions. Some of those trips have paid of big. If your like me you only have so many spots you can cast from around the water. I cast to the same lay downs and rocks every time I go. Some times there there sometimes there not. This one was in 12” of water at 90 degrees chasing bluegill in the sun.
  13. I’ve been using that one for some time now.
  14. I like that one nice job.
  15. That’s so simple I would have never thought of it.
  16. Great videos, I like your controlled excitement you can definitely hear it in your voice when you lay them on the deck. By the way if you wake up tomorrow morning and see someone in the boat don’t worry it’s just me sitting in the passenger seat waiting patiently.
  17. I think if you had equal rods and the same line capacity on each real. All things as equal as you could get and took a 1/2 ounce lipless. I think the spinning would win.
  18. Look into the bps carbonlite Rods. I have a medium fast paired up with a nasci. It’s a great combo. The medium is 1/8 to 1/2. It handles allot of presentations well. It’s also pretty tuff I’ve banged it into branches in tight shoreline areas. The combo comes to $220. When I can only bring one rod that’s the one I bring. It really is a do all combo.
  19. That thing is sweet. Don’t forget to take the things of the hook lol. I was swearing up and down after the third missed fish on a new spinnerbait once. Talk about feeling dumb.
