I read today the Katy Perry has the hots for Tim Tebow. It seems that she likes his dedication to christianity. It is great to be Tim.

I thought the press inverview of the Raiders GM was very incoherent. The guy just seemed to fire the coach without a plan. His "gut" will decide the next coach. I thought the Raiders played much better this season, despite the collapse. The Raiders are in trouble...

Hats off to Tebow and the Broncos. Great win against the Stealers. If the Broncos pass defense can get disrupt the NE recievers timing and get a lot of pressure and hits on Brady, they will have a shot. The Broncos have to come out and start the game red hot. Once Brady and co get going, there is no stopping them at home. My team, the Dolphins, had them down 17-0 at halftime only to see NE put up 38 points in the 2nd half. They have got to get pressure on Brady. That is the key to the game.

Fishindaddy is right, the cold front will arrive over the weekend. Lows to the mid 40's. It is going to be tough out there.

The moon phases were in favor of a good bite last sunday. The cold weather and high water must have had the bigger fish in deep cover with lock jaw. It will be interesting to see when the bass turn on over there at HP. I think the kotg in january last year won with 28#. When the bass finally start biting, it should be real good there. Until then, the big O!

Usually when we get a cold snap in Florida the bass get lock jaw. You can probably catch a few, but it will be tough. The best time during the winter is after the cold front passes and the temperature starts warming up. Unless it is tournament, I usually stop fishing. To pass the time, I usually just focus on the house honey do's, my golf swing, or football blogging.

If I may chime in. I think that the 'T dock information' can be useful or counter productive. Sometimes ms-information can ruin your day. You have to use your head and let your instincts guide you to search for your own spots while pre-fishing or while entering a T blind. To be fair, a couple of my BR brothers have put me on bass, with exact instructions! I always try to do the same. I appreciate that good stuff, but tourneys are another story. I have won a couple of club T's, and in every case I went against the prevailing thoughts at the dock because I want to fish areas that are clear of other boats that are spooking the bass. Merry Christmas

I just dropped Verison for Metro PCS when my contract expired. I had 1 android and two non smart phones. The average bill was 250.00 a month. I hated having allotments of minutes. With Metro, I bought 3 android phones and I have good service in south Florida, and with unlimited everything on 3 phones for 150.00 a month. Location might determine prices.

Mine came as a teenager fishing on lake Kissimmee FL during a 3 day trip in 1975 while fishing with my father. My dad was good friends with the owner of Camp Mack so we rented a cabin over the water and a 17' Boston Whaler. I caught the 11.8 bass using a silver Johnson spoon with a frog colored pork rind attached. That was the only fish we caught that day, but it still stands as my PB.

Mercury Morris served his time many years ago. He now speaks to youth about the dangers and pitfalls of drug use and alcohol abuse.
