  1. Hey Rad, The canal that Shane fishes is still a secret to me. I don't know where it is exactly, but I think I know the general area. Shane's canal is so full of gators, it would be suicide to swim there. . The story I told about the huge gator occurred west of Clewiston in the rim canal next to uncle Joe' cut.
  2. Sorry you feel that way. I am sure that you will regret this decision. You should just take a break.
  3. I just read an article that said they have lost contact with the drilling team. Sounds like an episode of X files.
  4. Beautiful looking body. It must be a very fun job to have.
  5. Nice Bass. I need to pick up some more frogs. The one he gave me at Lox last year is torn to shreads.
  6. Glad you are OK. I got shocked cutting into a circular saw power cord when I was a teenager. I couldn't get my hand to let go of the saw, so I had to throw it down. I am super careful around electricity because of that stupid incident. I agree about some electricians(industrial) being lazy, plus they are very sloppy leaving their cuttings, blown fuses, and blown modules everywhere.
  7. Wow. They don't mess around.
  8. From all reports I have read, the nerve is damaged and is still healing from the surgeries. It affects his arm strength. I hope the best for him, but it really looks like his career is over.
  9. Hey John, I just sent you an email with some questions. thanks for you reply.
  10. Excellent video Shane. You will get that elusive DD from that location one of these days. They are in there..
  11. Thanks for the information guys. I will check out the photography forums..thanks J
  12. I spend most of my free time hunting bass in the Everglades..so I just used glades.
  13. Peyton is probably done. Three neck surgeries including fusion and nerve damage don't sound promising. He should retire with dignity and not be carted off the field.
  14. A think it is a good hire. The raiders have some talent, maybe Allen can put it together.
  15. I can just piture u on won nee regalin yur wif an the resultin az whoppin..
  16. Nothing like a little extra radiation to get you going in the morning.
  17. Carnivors like their meat medium rare, not well done.
  18. Good advice to check your credit rating annually. Sorry about your son-in-law.
  19. I have a Nikon D90 camera. I am interested in buying a 50mm f/1.8 lens for general use and portraits. I like the bokeh(sp) effect where the center of the photo is focused but the edges blur. Nikon offers two versions of this lens. The "D" model($120), and the "G" model($230) which has better optics and is smoother and quieter operating. Nikon has the cheaper "D" lens available everywhere, but the "G" lens is out of stock everywhere I have checked on the net. I called Nikon corporate and they had no clue when more will be shipped to the US. I have searched the internet and different outlets. The only posibility that I can find is the "Refurbished" "G" ($180) lens for sale from several outlets. What are your opinions on buying the refurbished? Anyone buy one in the past? Issues? I am torn about buying the cheaper lens, buying refurbished, or just waiting until they are available again. Thoughts?
  20. 49ers vs pats...pats win the superbowl in an exciting close game
  21. That is just flat out amazing. Falcon lake has to be on every bass fishermans bucket list. Way to go!
  22. Drop shotting around deep rocks, drop offs, and structure in the rim canal is sometimes productive this time of year. It takes a lot of patience though.
  23. Congrats on the nice truck.
