lakes in CT are notoriously clear and i use all colors depending on forage. shad colors, black, green pumpkin, watermelon, etc. they all work

they are a nice bait, but i've switched over to the berkley power swimmer. amazing durability with nice action in the water

my god they're getting awful in so many lakes around me. if i get lucky enough to reel in one of those big stick fish, it's usually loaded with those sticky razor blades.
