I caught this baby Anaconda while fishing and was gonna wacky rig him but didn't have the appropriate hooks so I turned him loose. Probably shouldn't have let him go with him being non native to Ga.? This is Fred he's lived in my backyard for years and helps control the Chipmunk population. I cross paths with the venomous brands often. I've even had a Copperhead come out and visit me while offshore fishing.

Back the drags off when I get home. Reset the drags before I hook the boat up and out of habit when I pick up any rod I'll get the line a pull just to verify. Right or wrong? It works for me.

Fished similar conditions today(15 mph winds with 25 mph gust, water temp 62 - 64). Caught 19 on a weightless Super Fluke & 6" Bone Bull Shad casting over and along weed lines in 5' - 8' on the windy side of the lake. I've found that a Super Fluke fished somewhere between dead sticking and skipping across the surface will almost always produce in those conditions.

Super Fluke & Bull Shad produced 19 today. It was a great overcast and windy day.

After six hours of casting a 5oz Baitsanity Exploxer Glide or 5.5oz Bull Shad most everything I own feels very finessy.

My money goes to the performance side of gear. Besides I like black & gray as it keeps my mind sharp remembering the line type and test of 60+ combos.

Sharing pics of fish I've caught with folks is part of my religion.? I also enjoy looking at pics of other folks fish which likely took many trips, hundreds hours, and thousands of cast to catch. There's no discrimination in my boat due to a fish's size.
