  1. 29 years ago on a New Moon night when I took my girlfriend that's now my wife to a pitch black pond in a leaky paddle powered jon boat and put her on her first big bass a 6 lber. I'll never forget the excitement on that 18 year old blonde babes face illuminated by my Maglite.
  2. Decoy Egg Snap #1.5. I retie often & leave the split ring on for quicker & easier connections.
  3. Most newer phone will take a picture by voice command. I do it every trip. Just flip out the stand or lean it. I grew tired of silly looking pics.
  4. My Ego is a great adjustable net but it's stout for one hand netting jobs. My Frabill is slower to adjust but much lighter. Hope that helps.
  5. Spro ? 50 dirt shallow. Get us pics.?
  6. I've fished with my friend every Friday for 10+ years and enjoy his crying/bellowing/moaning/whinning about me out fishing him from the back of his boat. We fish a 25 hp restricted lake primary so we're in smaller less stable boats. When I fish by myself in my boat my fused back hurts alot less due to not counter balancing to his front deck gymnastics.
  7. Caught 15 bass last week using MegaStrike(Crawfish) to my partner's 3 bass with no scent. Using the same lures and line. Put me down as a believer.
  8. In my early 20's when I was bulletproof I worked in a 150 degree church attic( mid Summer in Ga) for far too long. Something happened and I've never been able to handle hot weather the way I could before. Hot weather means night fishing for me.
  9. Beetle Spins or Rooster Tails have never failed to catch smaller pond bass for me.
  10. The weather plays a role on what & how I fish. I'll always choose stormy, cloudy, night, and/or windy/very windy over bluebird days. But I'm going if I get the chance and will play the hand I'm dealt.
  11. 15 lb FC or 20 lb Copolymer depending on the depth & water clarity.
  12. I throw up to 2.5 ounce SB's on deep humps and points at night during the warmer months. My 1.5 ounce SB's have supplied a few big fish after I had a limit during daylight tournaments. I throw them on my 8' Daiwa 1- 6 oz swimbait rod spooled with 20 lb CXX.
  13. That's a jaw spreader for some of the bass I've been catching.?
  14. If it pertains to bass fishing always stop and ask yourself WWWRB do.?
  15. I use an old round trolling reel, 25 yards of 200 lb Muzzy bowfishing line, and a hound style knocker.
  16. I don't fish any PUBLIC waters on warm holidays. I'll be edging & pressure washing my driveway & the in law's. I consider staying away from the 3 - I's a personal challenge. Inbreed, Ignorant, and Inebriated.
  17. GreenPig posted a topic in Other Fish Species
1 lb 2 oz Bluegill in 22 FOW on a Nikko Hellgrammite Junebug and Outcast Ned jighead 1/10 oz.
  18. Spot on a big white worm Wednesday morning. 81 degree water temp
  19. Very Nice!
  20. Throwing the 14.25" Bruiser Baits Da Big Nasty tonight on a 9/0 3/8 oz Shaky Head and Texas rigged. The water temps over 75 and air is mid 90's. IT'S TIME!
  21. Normally 3:30 - 4am so I can be at my first spot at daylight or earlier. Leaving at 11 pm tonight to fish from 12 am til I get hot.
  22. Thanks Glenn. Gonna be 98 degrees in the shade here in GA this week. The bass I'm targeting will be nocturnal cause I'm making a transition.
