  1. I've got 3 or 4 Carbonlite 2.0 that haven't broken. Maybe I'm not fishing hard enough. One's a 7'6" medium fast spinning rod that's subdued a pile of stripers & hybrids.
  2. Wear a different hat & shirt. They recognize you and know what you're up to . You may even want to alter your gait. Smoke if you don't normally or don't if you normally do. Put a small throw pillow under your shirt and change your profile. Many things can be done to fool them. It just depends on how educated your bass are. I've had to go as far as growing a beard.????
  3. Ima Glide Fluke(sinking & floating), SUPER FLUKE, your favorite topwater walking bait, Whopper Plopper, Spinnerbait, Swim jig, Jerkbait, Baby Bull Shad, Bull Herring, & Flutter Spoon.
  4. Agree totally on the hook hanger position. I mean really, did they sit down to figure out the best position to get you to put a treble hook in our hands. I pick rods up by the handle.
  5. My fishing bud let his rope get caught on his trailer bunk when he pulled out after launching. It snatched the cleat off the dock at roughly 19,000 fps(rough guesstimate). The back glass on his F - 150 didn't fair well with the meeting. If somebody would've been hit in the head it would've killed them.
  6. Many times I've hooked up the boat at the house in heavy rains to drive to the lake a half hour away to zero rain.
  7. Rabbit killer taking a little break.
  8. I hope BigAngus752 has a big yard. Gonna be alot of trucks.
  9. Spinning reel not casting right. I'd definitely closely look at the rod.
  10. I've had many a great night fishing trips on Oconee and Sinclair. Fish the dock lights, under water lights are good, underwater green lights are the best. You might want to give the Shaky Head a try. A Squarebill is great for Hybrids around the lights. Congrats. Welcome to the Dark Side.
  11. My lure selection changes greatly throughout the year. But I'll always have a Super Fluke tied on. Sometimes on 4 rods rigged 4 ways. Herring lakes.

    Great hack
  13. I passed my first stone at 16 years of age. I'm 45 now and have passed 35 with one being 6mm. I have 8 in my left kidney and 7 in my right(1 is 8mm). I've had 9 kidney doctors and the conclusion is for me is it's genetic. I drink a minimum of 120 oz of water a day. I dislike taking meds but when a stones gets to moving it's Percocet, Soma, and Flomax time.
  14. 50% tartar sauce and 50% ketchup mix or malt vinegar
  15. Only water(4 - 6 bottles) while fishing. I survive the day by starting with two giant steak biscuits, 30 oz of coffee and a bottle of water. A Sprite for the drive home. When I arrive home I'll eat something like this and rest my eyes in my recliner. Just have to learn to control your metabolism with your mind.?
  16. My EDC for 14 year has been my CRT McGinnis Notorious. The belt clip along with assisted opening allows me to pull it, open it, cut, close it, and clip back on my pocket with one hand.
  17. Every year I talk to less and less people and I'm good with that.
  18. I shoot Carpenter Bees out of the air with my Daisy Pal BB gun. The last mistake they make is zoom up on me and hover in place. They can't dodge a BB at 275 fps.
  19. Picked up a Daiwa Revros LT 1000 & 2000 to play with and have no complaints. Very affordable reels.
  20. I really like my new Zodias. I know that doesn't help. Get well. YOU CAN'T BEAT THE MONKEY!
  21. 13 Fishing BAMF Shad. Megabass Magdrafts. I believe a Huddleston Deluxe is a wedge tail
  22. Fish both. No preference. Bulk of the time my hand is wrapped around the reel.
  23. Stand( lean hard on tall seat).
  24. Using your phone makes it easy. If you get a pic of your fish finder(temperature) first thing & every fish with the lure. Your phone logs location and date. You can also screen shot the current weather( I don't). I'll just page back through my gallery and see what I caught them on last year, year before, etc. When your get home it's already done.
