3" Spark Shad works pretty good on a Megabass Okashira Screwhead jig just creeping it along the bottom.

My favorite BC reels are Curados but I fish Abu, Lew's, Daiwa, Okuma, and a old Quantum. In spinning the Stradic's lead my pack.

125 yards? That's just a short pitch with a finesse jig. That does include the last 20 yards of skipping under the dock walkway. ?

Both work. They are both upper water column baits. The gill should be in play now at this point of the spawn.

You might just maybe want to try a different color hood. Apparently the deer are attracted to the red. Just a thought. Glad it didn't come in on you.

Ths Summer of 2013 just after daylight I hooked and fought for the biggest LM I've seen in the wild. I fought her for maybe 10 seconds before she threw my lure. My fishing bud said it was 4 hours before I spoke a word. I think he's exaggerating it couldn't of been more than 3.5 hours.

With the 9" I'll swim it slowly really targeting LM with a few twitches throw in to trigger a hit. The 6" & 8" I'll burn & kill it for the Spots. Big size difference between the 8 and 9".

They do catch fish but are fairly light at 1/2 oz and small. They cast like a tater chip so I throw mine on spinning tackle. Here's a 9", 6", and four Baby Bulls.

I don't upgrade. I add to the arsenal. I was working on certain rigs for certain lures. I'm getting to the point I can have certain rigs for each color of those lures. I need help.

MB 110's are great and I own a slew of them. I just simply catch more on Rapala Shadow Raps & Strike King 300's.

I generally head out targeting LM & Spots. I fish for fun so if I see stripers & hybrids schooling I'm on them. Many of the same lures will work, I just present them differently.
