  1. I run Fireline Ultra 8 Superline Crystal in 8lb to a 4 - 6 lb FC leader on my 1000 Stradic for two years with zero problems. I'm about to respool with the Kastking KastPro 13X braid in 8lb chartreuse just to try something different.
  2. I target Pre & Post spawn fish. Never spawning fish.
  3. 130 Whopper Plopper Bone Super Spook Bone Chug Bug Shad
  4. We have a little family owned restaurant that provides me with my prefishing steak biscuits a couple times a week. If I spot a first responder inside as I got thru the drive thru I get the waitress to grab me his/her ticket and I'll pay for it and the tip. Happens often enough that one deputy sheriff (I went to HS with)came out the back door and approached me and ask me to stop. I laughed and told him to make me and speed off with my boat in tow.
  5. Simple clippers with no guard and couple minutes is all that's needed if you're naturally handsome.
  6. That's why I start fast and slowly slow down until I catch fish.
  7. Yes when crawling a Ned/Micro Jig but No when gliding a 10.5" swimbait.
  8. Hope you're on them.
  9. Dropshot. I can fish it for hour or two with no fish while my partner has caught 5 or 6. I can pick up a Ned, Shaky Head, or small swimbait on a jig head a start catching fish. Only difference in our setup is the guy fishing it.
  10. Blessed with this 1st then 27 bass.
  11. Spiderwire works great for dinosaur neck surgery when the Beast Dachshund rips out it's trachea. I use Spiderwire on my pond/swamp combos.
  12. Tackling? What? Speak for yourself. I use all my gear.?
  13. They're fish eaters and he was in my pond. He didn't survive the event.
  14. Catching turtles with artificial lures is a skill few possess. Anybody can catch fish with lures. Black Trickworm unscented.
  15. Clearly the Fishing Gods want you to quit fishing RES's so I'd start throwing LC's, Spro, Cotton Cordell, Megabass, or any other brand as to not cross them. ?
  16. Nice. I'd still be on the way back to the ramp.
  17. Yes I back off the drag after every trip. Just SOP for me. I service all my on reels and have never noticed where it hurt to do so.
  18. Any tire shop should be able to balance just the tires. No need to take the trailer.
  19. In my experience the most likely time for somebody to fall and possibly bump their head rendering themselves unconscious is going from dock to boat or vice versa. Very few wear a life vest getting in or out of a boat and alot of folks drown at boat ramps.
  20. If it's bouncing on smooth roads you may want to consider getting the tires balanced. My fishing partners Bass Tracker is like a bronco with new unbalanced tires.
  21. 3 years old in 18 days and has charged 3 batteries 2 - 3 times a week with zero problems.
  22. 5.6 lb on April 23rd 2021 Whopper Plopper 130 Bone in 14 FOW.
  23. Never touched a SLX MGL. I've been fishing a Curado MGL 70 for a month and a half and already ordered another. It'll flat out launch a weightless Super Fluke and the new one will be a dedicated jerkbait reel. I do own and fish a SLX and the Curado is a more refined reel IMO.
  24. Mostly throw BC except for fishing deep water with lighter baits(Ned, Micro Jig, Shaky Head) that I want fall vertical without feeding line off my BC reel.
