  1. Extremely happy with my 80 lb Terrova on my 1448.
  2. Just ask the other fisherman with a nice unscratched/nondented truck and boat to back you in. Pretty high chance he'll be glad to give a fellow angler a hand. I back folks in/park the truck all the time and simply hand them their keys back at the dock.
  3. I throw red or orange when the bass are feeding aggressively. Sometimes times it helps, sometimes not so much.
  4. Welcome. Be observant. It's not just about the fish.
  5. Did it again today.
  6. Caught my first double ever along with 23 others.Trying to make up for a poor winter bite from all the monsoon rains.
  7. If it's under 40 mph I go.
  8. Fishing is medicinal. Any doctor worth his salt should know that. I hope you're fishing right now.
  9. Caught 1327 last year( Largemouth & Spots). I photograph every bass 8 inches or 8 pounds. I'm lucky enough to get to fish year round and have a pond that I see every day as I run my dogs. The number is substantially higher if Hybrids & Stripers are included. Lifetime = Bunch
  10. I'd try a Jackall Gantarel. It's 6.25" at 2.5 oz dives to 3' and floats. It has a spot on the nose to add weight if you like. They have multiple colors to choose from and you know what the bream look like in the pond. The Gantarel Jr. could be an option if 2.5 oz is to heavy for your rods.
  11. I use a plethora of different baits. I'm always trying new baits. It's the deal I worked out with my monkey. I buy new baits on a regular basis and he won't hit me while I'm sleeping.? Seriously when I fish in my partners boat I'll take 6-7 rods and a 25 lb box of tackle. When I go out in my boat I'll have a minimum of 12 rods up 20 and 80 plus lbs of tackle. It's a problem. But it ain't my fault it's those temperamental bass. Are they deep, shallow, feeding, not feeding, want a bright color, natural color, want a Ned rig, 10" swimbait or something in between? Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
  12. Pretty sure my Terrova remote with bluetooth would be considered a fast sink ROF.

Booyah Pond Magic 3/16 oz Red Ant pulled a 9.9
  14. My Ned combo is a Stradic 1000 spooled with Berkley Fireline Ultra 8 (Crystal) in 8lb test with a leader of 6 lb Seaguar Red Label fluorocarbon mounted on a Carbonlite 2.0 Medium/Light 6'10" rod. Cast great and sensitive enough to feel what fish are thinking.
  15. Nope. I don't believe I've ever seen one in a store.
  16. Awesome. Now you got to beat 5.51.?
  17. Get it welded. Many welders do side jobs at much reduced rates. Had a welder fabricate & weld pods on my boat for less than buying bolt on pods.
  18. Magdrafts 8" Ayu, 8" White back shad, 6" MSS, and a Deps 145 Deadly Keta Bass
  19. Huddleston Gill top hook & Megabass Magdraft Freestyle
  20. Bull Herring. If I lost mine today I'd order a replacement tonight.
  21. Excellent. Thanks Glenn
  22. Sorry I can't help out. I fish and enjoy all bass lures. If I speak ill of any lures I get hit.
  23. I use my phone to log my catches. Pic of the truck dash for air temp when I arrive at the lake, pic of the FF for water temp, pic of every fish with lure hanging from mouth. My phone tags the time, date, and location so I can easily swipe thru my pics at my previous years and come up with a pretty good plan.
  24. I typically just use the San Diego Jam knot with 6 lb mono and it produces
