  1. My condolences.
  2. I was gonna say 50 lb but the Spro Chad Shad pushes it to 65 lb. 50 lb is thin enough to dig in to the spool and snaps off can be expensive which why I don't throw bigger swimbaits/glides on braid anymore.
  3. #1 I'm gonna fish around diving Gulls, Loons, and fresh baby duck. #2 Shell beds for my area means Shell Crackers so I fish bigger baits to target Cracker eaters. #3 All beaver huts deserve a few cast atleast until the tail slapping starts. #4 I've caught Bass, Gar, Blue Cats, and Flathead catfish all in the same area.
  4. My 1448 is rated for a 25 hp and my 1436 is rated for a 15 hp. A 40 on a 14' would be hazardous to your health IMO.
  5. Got enough government in my life already. #NOTHANKS

The jitterbug sashays side to side on the retrieve. It is outdated but a Musky Jitterbug at night can be phenomenal.
  7. I often cast and retrieve jigging spoons and catch plenty bass. I've worked rattle traps just like a jig in the cold and it works fine depending on your cover.
  8. I used to keep records of air temps and eventually quit because for me only the water temperature matters. If the waters above freezing I'm fishing.
  9. Any of y'all that can cast baitcasters.
  10. No idea for numbers. But for big LM & Spots it was a Bull Shad Wake Bull and a old Lew's 8.1:1 Wide Speed Spool full of 20 lb CXX mounted on a old 7'6" heavy Abu Garcia rod rated 1 - 4 ounce. I'd been swapping that bait from rig to rig after loosing fish on the jump. Haven't lost a fish since finding that combo.
  11. Strike detection? I just set the hook 4 - 22 times during every retrieve.
  12. Don't care. I like Ike, so I'll keep watching him.
  13. Spooled with fresh Whisker Seeker 30 lb line, ready to drag some bait.
  14. Never really used one. Bolt an AR style I bore sight. The rest I'll start at 25 yards to get sighted. But I don't mind shooting.
  15. Very nice! Appreciate the video.
  16. #1 June Bug and I catch alot of fish in 4 - 5' visibility. # 2 Red Bug and I catch a pile in less than 1' visibility.
  17. I train an attack dog everyday. She's the first and going on 7 years of intense training and I've only been able to get her to attack me. I can and do out run her for approximately a minute after that I'm getting mauled. I lift hay bales, for strength and balance I tote 50lb feed sacks of feed in root covered catch pens full wet stuff the exits cattle.I also wrestle big big girls, it's true hand to hoof combat. Honestly I'm super thankful on the mornings I can stand straight up
  18. You talking about Glenn? Good to know I'm not the only one he charges to be a member here.
  19. I've been training my girl to keep the bait monkey off my back.
  20. Got a couple Gomexus power handle for my round reels.
  21. Any excuse is better than none.😀
  22. To all the Bass Resource family Happy New Year.
  23. The 3:16 7" NoBull frog comes to mind size wise. But it's not a buzz frog.
