Night fishing
My primary lake that I've fished for over 25 years, has a sign that says " Day use parking" and I've fished Summer nights every year. I've long given up on trying to convince folks that you can fish it at night. I buy an annual parking pass and it's states Parking Pass, nothing of day/night. My close to home lake closes the entrance gates at 930 pm but leaves the exit gate open. I also hold an annual pass for that lake and drive right in the exit gate and go fish because the booth isn't manned til 630 am. Never had a problem after doing that for decades.

Do left handers ...
The good thing about being really crazy is you don't know you're crazy. SO SPEAK FOR YOURSELF!🤪

Is it better?
Anyone can catch bass on 3 or 4 or 5 techniques. The real challenge is catching a couple dinks on 18 techniques.

That Darkness Thing
I very much prefer the dark. I'm always amazed at the number of boats that wait until the sun starts rising before they launch or head out well before dark. Must be a fear thing as they'll just hangout and wait. The Sun rise and Sun set is so much better observed from the boat versus the parking lot. A truly great bass fisherman will adapt to the conditions. 😆

spoonin'
No master here. I have 40 lbs of spoons and my #1 spoon is the Cotton Cordell in 1/2 & 3/4 ounce with Gamakatsu hooks. -Don't sleep on gold spoons. -Sharp hooks are a must. -Vary your stroke. Some days they want 3' and some days 3 inches. -After turnover, there isn't any too deep to spoon fish. - You can almost always shake a spoon out of a hangup if you take you time. #SpooningGiaintsOnly😄

Songs to Sing While Fishing
Too many to list and every genre but rap. I have 400+ songs on my phone. I put a ear piece in and cast and sing. I always listen/sing to Simple Man just before arriving at the lake to get my mind right.

Levante
I fish T rigs, jigs, and my Bull Herring on my Braillist and have no complaints. Paired it with a Curado 150 MGL. JDM? No idea, but it performs.

Ugh. Both Tacomas need oil change this week.
I used to do all normal maintenance on our trucks. Nowadays for oil, I take it to a shop I've done business with for 32 years. They do the oil change for $82 per truck versus me doing it for $79. The $3 isn't worth disposing of the oil and my time.

Barefoot and footwear in the Boat
Teva Forebay sandals down to 50 degrees. Danner hunting boots for the colder mornings. My boat is aluminum and will cook bare flesh on sunny days.

Latest Catch Pics Thread
Caught 6 bookends in 7 hrs today at my close to home lake. Started fast and keep slowing down until I caught one on a finesse jig and 5 on a wobblehead Ned. Had a great Sun rise and wonderfully colored up trees.

Why You Should Spend Time on the Water When Everyone Else is in the Woods
I wish the water was a bit less crowded. It was 33 degrees the other morning and there were boats everywhere using the bent pole pattern.

Your Average 5 Fish Bag
Sure we care. That's a great sack of fish, especially from the turf.

New to us--exploding glass on a stove.
You're gonna need the heat resistant duct tape to fix that before baking anything. Try Ace Hardware.

Do you label your jig storage?
No labels on my jigs. Takes all the skill out of it.😄

I finally got it!
Very nice rig.
