Songs to Sing While Fishing

Featured Replies

I have two suggestions about songs to sing while fishing.

One is from a James Bond movie and is my all time favorite while the other is a great song from a Broadway play.

The James Bond song is "Nobody Does it Better" while the Broadway show song is from Peter Pan.

And good news for Glenn: Only two more surgeries to go on my hands and then I will be back in full force and beauty.

Fished for the first time this year in a club tournament the weekend of November 4th and did great, even though I was not able to jump up and grab the net as fast as I used to grab the net.

In the meantime, enjoy:

My fishing partner and I break into “The Wreck Of The Edmond Fitzgerald “  every time the water gets “sporty” on lake St Clair.  Fun fact, today is the 48th anniversary of the ship’s sinking.

Too many to list and every genre but rap. I have 400+ songs on my phone. I put a ear piece in and cast and sing.

I always listen/sing to Simple Man just before arriving at the lake to get my mind right.

Me sing ROTFLMAO!

There's a reason I run the sound booth

I listen to this right before I get to the launch.

The last couple of years either fishing or doing stuff around the house I always end up humming and singing Turtles All the Way Down

And since this last season of Strange New Worlds, this one. It's a heck of an earworm. My fishing buddy isn't a Trek guy so he had no idea what I was going on about.

If I were to sing, Game and Fish would probably arrest me for harassing wildlife. If I turn the radio on while on the lake it’s typically KUPD (rock station).

When I was younger and we would fish in Minnesota we always sang “There’s a skeeter on my Peter” I still find myself singing it in my head when I’m fishing😆

I don’t sing on the water and if the guy in the back does he is jeprodising a return invite.  I don’t need the distraction.

Because it never ends keeps going on forever.

I don't sing while I'm fishing but if I did it would be Robert Earl Keen's "Five Pound Bass".

so.., what I am hearing is lets sing, "showtunes"?

not that there is anything wrong with that.    I do holler that one phrase out of Frozen, when I release a bass.  :D

Not one to listen to music when I’m seriously fishing, but this kinda vibe would be it:

“And it Stoned Me” - Van Morrison

"What you got against fish?" - Pat Dailey

Can't make this up, I lost a fish when "I want to break free" was playing...

Where or where are you today, why did you leave me here all alone. I searched the lake over and thought i would find you, but you met another and pffft! you were gone. ( a couple times each year)
