  1. I really prefer fishing in the wind with rain. The only thing that'll keep me off the water is lightning.
  2. Loosen all drags just prior to pushing my boat in the garage.
  3. I've been to one baby shower. Spent the entire time helping the husband mount his new Minn Kota. I had a fine time, but was never ask to attend another.

Between my morning 30oz coffee and nightly whiskey I'll drink six to twelve 16.9oz bottles depending on the days activities.
  5. Try it. A frog hook might sit great over those wings.
  6. Never have or will allow alcohol on my boat. I knew a man that didn't drink, that took a friend fishing that did drink. Drunk fell in, sober guy jumped in to save him, they both drowned. I do often enjoy whiskey/bourbon late in the evening at home, after tying my leader knots.
  7. Caught this joker watching everything I tied on. Just got to figure out who he's working for. He seriously thought I wouldn't see him. He ran off after I threatened to put him on a 2/0 EWG.
  8. Excellent. I'm good for one or the other.
  9. I always start a trip with 30oz of coffee, day or night. I take 3 bottles of water and enough food to eat a quick snack every 2 - 3 hours.
  10. About three quarters of the way through mowing the Inlaws 5 acres yesterday when my John Deere sucked a drain hose from the camper under it from 2' away. It was a well built hose with 717 miles of wire in it.
  11. Gets me and my boat to the lake quickly.
  12. I've literally never touched a Senko.
  13. Have you ever met someone that is a lot like you? Yes, I've met alot of hard-headed people. Is it easier for you than it is me? Probably, there's alot of hard-headed folks. If he was a girl and pretty, you'd date him? Man it's 2023, you do what makes you happy.

That's no doubt a LOFR. Lack of Fishing Rash, if you'd of been fishing it would've of never happened.
  15. Excellent. I'm sure they had a good time and learned a few things.
  16. Nice fish.
  17. Remember that he is working for you. I'd be quick to tell him I ain't paying for a smart a$# mouth. I tell everybody I've fished with when they blow up a reel " If you wanted to take a break from casting you could've just laid it down and took a break ".
  18. ??? I'll usually have 5 big swimbait rods and standard gear. I'm beyond intervention as I'm too far down the hole. I can't help you. I wish you luck especially if the get a bigger boat.
  19. Any of y'all missing a puppy?
  20. ?? Get us some pics of the big worm eaters.
  21. 11" Damiki Mega Miki ll, 10" Strike King Bullworm, 12" Zoom Magnum Ol Monster, and 10.5" Monster. I usually fish the Zooms on a T Rig and the straight worms on a Magnum Shakey Head but will fish the Zooms on a Shakey Head when the bass request that presentation. I only fish darker colors in the big worms at night. During the day I'll try GP, Watermelon Red, Plum, etc.
  22. I have the Gizzard & Bone and like them. Looking forward to the Fall swimbait bite.
  23. Sir that's WONDERFUL. She must be a great lady.
  24. Yeah. I've got 189 lbs worth of batteries in my back seat. Some of the foam is still on each side, but with the aluminum deck and floor I've added, not to mention tackle, it'll most like sink. I'll never be in salt water, never out of sight of land, and if it starts leaking more than my bilge pump will handle, I will run in right up on the bank.
  25. Don't have many doctors yet, thankfully. None fish but a few concealed carry. My PCP gave me a full physical many years ago, so I had to strip down. I ask where should I sit my guns. He said " GUNS" as in plural. We laughed, then he showed me his revolver.
