My wife came home from the In Laws last night with my orders. Big limbs blown down after some storms blew through. Started at 8am and just got home. Man I love Summer heat and humidity.

A jon boat is fairly light and easy to tow.

Can you get out after dark? It's a little cooler, fraction of the boat traffic, and the fish are more willing to hit. Trailer looks good.

I'd swing by and eyeball it on the way to elsewhere until it clears up a bit. I'd rather spend some of my fishing time driving to more productive waters over dragging sludge the whole time.

I've known a few hunters that shot very nice bucks every year. What I learned from them was find the right area and spent every available moment you can there. My best years for bigger bass were the years I'd go fish every chance I had.

I'd be just fine never throwing another crankbait. Soft jerks baits tickle my fancy and I I've got so many colors, sizes, and brands, they all have a time and place to fish. I swear I can stop whenever I want to.

Fished yesterday from 230a - 730a and caught this Spot at 715. I couldn't figure them out. 88 degree water.
