If I were in the market for a new spinning reel, I would not hesitate to buy another Legalis, especially at that price!

I have the Daiwa Legalis and I am very pleased with it! First Daiwa reel I have owned, very impressed. Comfortable to fish with all day, very light, drag is super smooth. My other spinning reel is a Pflueger President, they are good reels also, I have noticed though the Daiwa is much lighter in weight, and the drag is much smoother.

I am so glad I have an amazing local tackle shop that I can go and buy all my stuff!

I am not arguing with you on the stupid thing! But that is just one of those things you expect from a thief, they are all stupid. I mean they put more effort into figuring out how to get away with something illegal, instead of just going and getting a job! Lol

I will be grabbing some of the new Frittside cranks here in the new year for sure. Look like they could be a good choice for the cold water in early spring!

My whole lineup is Dobyns Fury rods! I love them, and for the money I don't think there is much better, just my opinion though!

My best advice would be, don't get trapped in the thought that you need the latest and greatest of anything to be a bass fisherman! We have all made this mistake over the years and wasted lots of money. Pick one or two techniques and one or two baits for said techniques and fish them till you figure them out, then Branch out from there!

My fury 703c is paired up with the Lew's tournament MB reel! But all of my fury's are paired up with that reel!

I would say 10 or so pound braid and probably 6 pound fluoro! But that is just my opinion.

Wow Tom sorry to hear this! Really hits home to me because I am the same age as your son, can't imagine dealing with that at this age! You, your son and the family will be in my thoughts and prayers this holiday season! Hope and pray to God that he gets some better news along the way!

I am in the same boat, I removed all the line off my reels Sunday evening and backed all the drags off on my reels. Then I sat down and drank a couple beers and cried! haha. Now of course we are going to have temps near 60 today and tomorrow. Weather men suck!!!! lol

Well bought a new Lowrance Elite Ti2 9 today for the boat! Really excited for spring now.

Rain suit for the boat, graph for the boat not sure which one yet. That will most likely be the end of the spending this winter! lol

I am thinking about one of the terminal boxes! I think by the looks of it I wouldn't be worrying about hooks getting under or over the dividers and mixing together then!
