Largemouth bass virus
It can be bad stuff. Table Rock largemouth became infected with viral hemorrhagic septicemia and was nearly wiped out. It had little effect on smallmouth and spots. Both of their populations exploded. It took several years for the lmb to bounce back.

Spinnerbait opinions wanted
I’d go with small Colorado as the inside and a willow, maybe hammered silver blades.

Yellowstone
Now you can make it 2. I just don’t like Costner even back to Silverado.

Best AGM Batteries
EnerSys Energy Products bought them out a year or so ago. Odyssey is their big product.

Best AGM Batteries
That’s not enough information.

Best AGM Batteries
How they will be used makes a difference in what I would recommend. I don’t look at amp hour with AGMs. If it is for cranking then I want cold cranking amps, cca. If it is for a trolling motor then I want high reserve capacity, rc. I don’t know which are the best because I don’t have the knowledge base to answer that question. I am using the Batteries + X2 with 1150 cca and Pro Guide 245 rc and am very satisfied.

Victory hook #10777
Thanks for the info Allen. I’m not looking to modify another mold. I’ll just wait and see if other hooks become available.

Cost of transporting boat?
Since you really don’t sound like you want it anyway why go to the trouble to procure it? I’d have to want it real bad to go to that much trouble and expense.

Lower back pain...
What works best for me is to take 2 acetaminophen 500s before I go to the lake and another 2 more in 6 hours. Otherwise I’ll hurt all day and all night. If it still bothers me I coat it with lidocaine before bed.

Ned Rod Battle: Dobyns Vs St. Croix VS G Loomis
You evidently fish the Ned differently than I do. I stay with light heads (1/8) and under, mostly (1/16). I can’t imagine a medium rod working well for me. How do you fish it so that you need that much rod or lots of sensitivity?

Lowrance Repairs
There is a place in Springfield MO called Clear Cast that works on electronics.

Victory hook #10777
They are offering a 1000 count so I’m guessing that they have a bunch. There will be 6 of us using out of mine. I hope Victory or some other company comes out with other sizes of hooks. We have a local guy who makes a similar jig, Jades Jigs. I’m using some of his with a 2/0 on baby brush hogs.

Victory hook #10777
Hooks for the weedless Midwest Finess mold. They are back in stock at Barlows. I ordered me 400 last night.

G Loomis 844c mbr
The GLX is stiffer than the IMX therefore it doesn’t cast as far. I’m sure it is a personal thing but it gets fished less than the IMX.

Do you have a preferred pocket knife while on the water?
Most of the time I carry my Uncle Henry Stockman but have others in the boat.

Trolling motor battery died - replacement recommendations?
With that trolling motor and 2 good 31 series 225 rc batteries you should be able to go all day. AGMs are more costly but way easier to manage.

Fish management on private lake--is it a good idea to remove small bass?
I looked into that because I had 12 ponds and wanted to stock some of them. A MO Department of Conservation biologist told me to keep a good balance that I would need to keep 20 bass per acre per year and throw back all perch.

Trolling motor battery died - replacement recommendations?
It would be interesting to know make and voltage of the OPs trolling motor.

Favorite Bait Cast Reel Speed For Walk-The Dog Top Water Lures ?
It the rod that matters not the reel. I’ve used 3.8:1 up to 7.4:1.

Trolling motor battery died - replacement recommendations?
There aren’t many battery manufacturers out there. I have used several brands and found most of them to be satisfactory. I used to run Optimas exclusively but the last set weren’t that good. The single most important thing to look for that will keep you on the water the longest is RESERVE CAPACITY. I don’t want anything less than 200 minutes. My current set has 245 rc each. Yesterday I used them fishing into a 15 mph wind for 5 hours and they showed no drop in power.

G Loomis 844c mbr
I have a Gloomis GLX MBR 844 c and a Gloomis IMX MBR 844c I use them for 1/2 oz jigs and 1/2 oz spinnerbaits with 15# fluorocarbon line. I like the IMX better than the GLX. In fact I wish both were IMXs.

A-Rig Question
I don’t usually have much luck with them until later on. Generally speaking it is December through March for me.

Red Eyes
Here in MO we see smb with red eyes quite often and a lot of spots and goggle eyes also have them.

Windows 11
The last time I did a switch was to windows 8. It killed my computer. The Geek Squad at their Louisville location couldn’t even fix it. I had to trash it and most of the files couldn’t even be recovered. Now I just buy a new computer and have the files transferred by the Geeks.
