  1. Nope but I got you covered. I’m going twice a week and will pick it up to three days as soon as it cools down a little.
  2. We have a big jig off shore bite going on. I’ve been using 1/2 and 1 oz jigs with craw trailers 25-35’ deep.
  3. I have it on several spinning reels. It does ok as long as I use 10# and less. KVD conditioner helps.
  4. There is starting to be a big jig (1oz) bite on gravel points and flats. It varies. Sometimes the boat needs to be in 40’ with the fish in 25-30. Sometimes they are shallower. There’s also been a top water bite. Two guides: Pete Wenners and Eric Prey have weekly reports.

It was the conversation with Allen that got me to thinking about it. You know what Table Rock is like. Even with a weedguard I still lose several. Which ones have you used?

A while back there was a discussion about this. Have any of you guys who have used them have a report on how snag free they are?
  7. Tom I think that was Glenn Lau wasn’t it? Larew was Gene and owned the Shadrack Resort at Cape Fair on Table Rock lake.
  8. It may be reaction time. I read a study once where reaction time was discussed. It stated that a human’s reaction time is 3/4 of a second while a bass’s is 1/25 of a second. If this is the case it is a wonder we ever catch one.
  9. If it is the same brand it might have the same footprint. You can call the mfg tech support and as them.
  10. I fish a lot of windy days here in MO. My 45” shaft came out of the water a lot fishing into the wind. I went with longer this time and it stays down.
  11. I would buy myself another Curado 150 DC. I really like those that I have.

  13. I’m guessing newer technology.
  14. You are more likely to have issues caused by the trolling motor than the two depth finders. I have had as many as 3 units on the same battery with no interference. Your units might “cross talk” if their sonar cones overlap.
  15. Sometimes it is the fish hitting the blades, but a trailer hook may give you more insight into the situation.
  16. We’ve been having 95-100% humidity most mornings. I try to fish early and leave by midday. My extra cooler filled with ice and water allows me to keep a wet cool endura cloth around my neck.
  17. I try to fish 100 days a year and have for a long time. I’ve never had that happen to me. If I did I believe that I would say look me in the eyes and see if I give a —— what you are doing.

  19. Lately I have had trouble getting on the site and sometimes opening a thread to read it.
  20. I fish it a lot and carry 5 setups. Gloomis ml bronzeback/Curado 70 2 Gloomis Gl 3 ml/Shimano Symmetry 1000s 2 Fenwick HMG ml/Shamino Stradic 2000s All have Yozuri hybrid 6# line.
  21. I say trolling motor with spot lock #1, new electronics #2. Power Poles maybe #3 maybe not at all. I had Power Poles on my boat for 2 years and used them maybe 10 times. My boat is usually setting in water too deep for them to do me any good. Spot lock is the bomb and spot lock jog is super.
  22. If it exists smalljaw or cadman will know about it.
  23. Have you talked to Noco? They are the ones that told me to shut off the main switch if I planned to leave it plugged in all the time.
