  1. It used to be all that was available. They caught fish but dried out quickly in warm weather. I always found them to be a pain to use and was very glad when something else came along to replace them.
  2. That causes a delay so that it has to be inspected before it can be posted? It happens to me sometimes and I don’t have a clue as to why.
  3. From now to May I will be using Jewell Pee Wee jigs with Yamamoto 4” twin tail grubs, Zman Zinkerzs rigged shaky, and TRDs Ned rigged.
  4. Are you selling this or telling us about it?
  5. I’ve eaten some and they are good. However the lake I fish the most has gizzard shad and no threadfin. So it takes 10 years for a smallmouth to reach legal size. When I found that out I quit eating them.
  6. I don’t have one but I have a Stihl blower that has been going for at least 20 years.
  7. I always hated them even when they were the only choice. As soon as the low profiles came out I sold the round ones and never looked back.
  8. If you are hanging it up this early, you will probably have a lifetime supply of jigs tied up by spring. Then you may want to get into making your own plastics which is a whole other world.
  9. I use it on rods and reels. Does a good job and smells good.
  10. I was able to get on the water for a while. I took the Hot Sauce with me and udes it on the motor after we loaded up. It did a great job. Thanks A-Jay.
  11. Eagle claw has vastly improved in the last few years. You might look at Captain Hooks warehouse.
  12. Nope there isn’t. Just be sure to drain everything when you come out of the water and make sure the lower unit has drained well.
  13. Change the lower unit fluid. Change any fuel filters. Check the spark plugs. Replace impeller if needed. Fish when you can.
  14. If you are really interested in learning more you should decide on a brand that you want to own. They do similar things but in very different ways as well a they all have different names for the functions. Ideally getting in front of a unit in a store with a qualified sales person can really be helpful. In order to ask informed questions about a unit you can down load the owners manual for the one you want. Read it a few times, look at videos and ask questions. I run a one boat network with Minn Kota and Humminbird units all of which are Ethernet connected and share information. Right after I got started I needed to reference some function in the boat and couldn’t. So I downloaded the pfd files for all of my units and had them printed and bound. I carry them in the boat for a quick fix for most issues encountered on the water.
  15. You might try Living Rubber, or Fishing Skirts.com. https://fishingskirts.com/collections/finesse-series https://www.livingrubber.com/search?q=fins+silicone+material&options[prefix]=last

  17. When it gets low on the spool I change it.
  18. I’ve fished from small glass boats as well as aluminum. If I were choosing one it would be the aluminum.

  20. I run backing on all of my reels. I put a full cast + 60’ of new line on.
  21. I get mine from Russell Marine Products.
  22. I am a BTS user and have been for over a dceade. However, I have not used it on the pads. It’s worth a shot. Thanks.
  23. I have a couple of the IMX MBR 843C rods. They are my favorite. A couple of years ago the PRO you mentioned was offered maybe on here and I jumped on it. It was nothing like what I had. I kept it for a while, never liked it and sold it.
  24. This is what I use on my trailer vinyl. I’ve tried a lot of different things and never been satisfied. I have to reapply it every couple of trips. Is there anything better out there?
