The names used to describe lures are nuts.
Naming things isn’t easy. When I was in the business I had 22 varieties of buck tail jigs. The customers wanted names printed on the packages for easy recognition. They didn’t care what I called them.

Ac/DC and DC/DC onboard chargers
If you get good quality deep cycle trolling motor batteries with a high reserve capacity they will last all day and then some. You won’t have to worry about charging them while you’re on the water.

Why did I wait so long?
I keep an open one in the boat, a new replacement in the boat glove box, an open one on the work bench and a new replacement in a drawer.

Why did I wait so long?
I used to be in touch with a Loctite research chemist. He sent me samples of the gel to try before it was available in the US market. I think it was sold in the U K back then. I’ve been a loyal user since.

Anyone else not bother hollow body frogging?
For me they are right with the whopper plopper, a good bait to leave home.

Thinking about a new Merc.
I think you will like the new Mercury four strokes. I’ve had 10 trouble free years out of mine and if I repowered it would be another one.

I need a hat…
I sweat too much to wear a buff. Does the boonie hat keep the sun off your neck?

The Jig Is Up
For me modified football (Jewell Pee Wee) with Yamamoto 4” twin tail grub. One of my favorites is the bass whacker with a watermelon red twin tail grub. https://jewelbait.com/shop/details/pee-wee-series/pee-wee-football-jig-hd https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Yamamoto_Double_Tail_Grubs_20pk/descpage-YA4DTG.html I use 3/16, 5/16 and 7/16 depending on wind and depth.

I need a hat…
I have lots of “trucker” caps and 4 fishing hats. Of the 4 only 1 lets in enough ventilation. The other 3 sweat me something awful. The one that lets air enough air through doesnt have a wide enough brim. What’s out there that offers shade and ventilation?

Leader test
I think that it is always good when a gar does a self release. I’ve used several different fluorocarbon lines and the red label works for me.

Even though it is a “new noncurrent” rig, it has been setting around for 3 years. The moment you sign the title and make payment you will be taking a three year depreciation hit. Since it has been there that long it probably isn’t going anywhere soon. I advise you to look around at what else is available in your area. I would avoid Tracker as they are notorious for under powered units aimed at first time buyers.- Patience, or…….
Where I fish it is shallow and clear. There are rarely more than one or two fish in an area so sitting on a “spot” is usually not productive. When I get a bite or catch a fish I stop and work the area over using spot lock if necessary. Otherwise I keep moving at .3 to .5 mph. I’m also ADHD so sitting still isn’t really an option.- Live crawfish jig trailer?

Typically they flare better. They are not as easy to rig. Here’s a video for you.- Foggy lenses
A small amount of dish soap applied to the lenses, wiped dry then buffed is supposed to work.- Pomme Spinnerbait
