  1. I have 1 bc setup for that kind of fishing. I’ve tried several lines and have found that Yozuri hybrid 6# test works very well for me. It handles 3/32 Neds and heavier. I couldn’t go that light even with 8# mono.
  2. I leave mine at the end of the rod. They aren’t hanging over the side because my front deck is big enough for 7.5’ rods to lay down flat.
  3. I fish Table ROCK. Enough asid.
  4. I only use 2 kinds, War Eagle and homemade all half ounce.War Eagle left…homemade right.
  5. I’ve never even had a bite on this craw. I’m about to quit and sell the mold.
  6. My boat, truck and house. I wash my boat after every trip. I wet vac the carpet monthly. My truck gets washed and waxed at least weekly. My wife does the inside of the house.
  7. When I fish them (1/16 to 1/8) it is sort of a glide and twitch keeping it off the bottom. Heavier it is hopping along the bottom.
  8. You might gently apply a little heat to see if it reactivates.
  9. I had to get some mustard at 02:30 this morning. I’ve tried pickle juice. It evidently isn’t strong enough because it doesn’t work for me.
  10. I sometimes wake with them. A tea spoon of yellow mustard tricks my brain and within a few minutes they are gone.
  11. It depends on the color of the braid, your water clarity and time of year. I can get by with no leader now because our water is dingy. That’s not the case in cold, clear, winter water.
  12. Pm me your name and address and I will send you some skirts.
  13. If that was an R wire spinner bait you can stop that from happening. You can wrap floral wire, heavy thread or braided line around the R portion to keep the wire from separating. It will exponentially increase the life span of your bait. I wire mine then use heat shrink tubing to cover it. I wear out the skirts before I wear out the bait. I have never had a wire break when fixed this way and the functionality of the bait is not compromised. I’ve been using the one in the pic for 2 years. It is on its second skirt.
  14. There are several ways to keep the worm in place. Here are a few. The one like the parasite clip is made from 20 ga wire from Lowes. 2 headless nails in a board is all of the form needed and you can customize the size. The cost may be a penny.
  15. This is used for down and side scans. I have a 2d inside the hull. I haven’t noticed any interference. It comes out of the water when I get on plane.
  16. This is how my mega is mounted on my Z20.
  17. If you skip the last step you will have the Pitzen. It is easier, faster, and just as strong. By the way 5 wraps is enough.
  18. T rigged Gene Larew black salt craw on a wabble head is a bass getter. TRD Yoga pants is also a very good Ned bait.
  19. It won’t work in my one boat network, but the new MK will. https://minnkota.johnsonoutdoors.com/us/shop/freshwater-trolling-motors/ultrex
  20. The information given to you at the time of purchase was sketchy. You should charge newly purchased batteries. You can check the them with a hydrometer from your local auto parts store. They should be 12.8 volts when fully charged.
  21. My plumber smelled it and said that he has a truck load of it, pvc glue.
  22. I did that once. It never caused any problem.
