Chime In On This Age Old Debate
White bass fight harder than smallmouth around here.

Color you wish more companies would make in soft plastics
There are already too many to choose from Zman and Keitech. It drives me nuts trying to figure out what to order.

Ned rig for smallies
Yes but lately a Keitech swim bait has been better than Ned.

Best way too???
Check a small area with acetone. If it doesn’t damage the paint, it will get things squeaky clean.

What is your fav setup?
Custom 7.6’ m rod with a Shimano Curado X70 with 12# fluorocarbon line and a Zman ZinkerZ on a 2/0 vmc ewg hook poured on a modified Midwest finesse mold. Today the heads varied from 1/8 to 1/4 and green pumpkin was the best color.

Jig Tying and skirt Question
The sky is the limit for skirts and what you can do. There are lots of places to look for skirts, Janns Netcraft, Lure Parts on Line, Fishing skirts.com, Barlows and many more. I recommend wire tying instead of thread. Floral wire is what I use.

How long can you go on a single charge???
There are a lot of factors to consider in the time you can fish on a single charge. The longer you go without recharging the more damage you will do to your batteries which will shorten their lifetime.

Mercury Verado owners?
I have a 2016 Verado on a Nitro Z20. It is a good motor but too heavy for that boat which I didn’t know at the time. I never try to plane any motor until it warms up to at least 120°.

A-rig question.
I’ve tried them in place of a spinnerbait without much luck.
-
Custom Rod builder Logos?
Personally I want it on my custom rods. That way there is never a question about where it came from.
-
How long do you leave the plastic on your cork?
I fish it once to be sure that I want it. Then I take it off and put shrink tubing on.
-
Battery?
On the cranking battery, be sure it has enough Cold Cranking amps for your motor. On the deep cycle, reserve capacity reflects how long it will provide power to the trolling motor the larger the number the longer it will last.

fastest boat you've ever seen
Fastest one I have personally seen is the one that my old boss had. It was an 18 footer with a 300 hp motor. It ran 105 when properly tuned. He ran it on Table Rock but could only go out right after dawn when the lake was quite and other boats weren’t out yet.

Trolling Battery
Some batteries don’t last but most do. How you take care of it is very important.

Getting the truck detailed
No idea on the truck. I don’t detail mine but have it washed, waxed and hand dried a couple of times a week.

Help? What is this?
Looks like some sort of eel to me.

Plastics at night
That would have been helpful in your original post.

Plastics at night
Senkos would not be my first choice. Trigged craws or jigs would go before them. What ever you use a good quality rod kept in the 10-12 O’clock position for maximum feel will help. If you feel anything, drop the rod tip, reel up some slack and set the hook. After all most hook sets are free. You might make some casts, close your eyes and fish. That can simulate night fishing.

Need help with shakey head
I don’t use anything but 12# fluorocarbon on shaky.

Show Your Rigging Station
I have a butcher block that is 5x6. It sete on top of 2 bathroom vanities. There are 6 drawers and 2 doors on each side. It is close to the boat and close to my bait making station and bait closet.

Why does a bass quit thrashing when we lip them?
Yours maybe mine not so much, especially if on a bait with treble hooks.

Just Ordered a Set of Boat Trailer Steps ~
I never considered them, however my current boat came with them. I’d really hate to have to do without them.

Rod position when reeling in chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, etc.
Unless you have heavy line an angle is your best bet, but you don’t need much.
