How far in advance can I completely rig soft plastic baits before using them?
I don’t take stuff off even if the baits contain salt. It takes months for salt to damage a good hook.

Super Glue
I quit using it because last summer it would dry up in a couple of trips. I started making bait keepers on my jigs. They hold the bait in place and allow me to change if I want to.

Why I like fishing flea markets
We only have one. It is a once a year deal at a marine dealership down towards Table Rock Lake. He charges $50 per table and it is a 2 day event.

Mono storage
I keep mine in the bait closet in the garage.

Who knows batteries?
My impression is you have 2 bad batteries. Your manual will tell you how many CCAs needed for the motor. My guess is in the 6-700 range.

wire bait keeper length
If it were me I’d get some jigs without keepers and some 20 gauge wire and make my own any length that I wanted. All you would have to do is make the keeper, wrap thread around it on the hook shank then put some super glue on it. Once it is dry you good to go. I do a similar technique to keep worms on a shaky head.

Keitech users
Ok thanks. I will go separate them.

wire bait keeper length
Are these purchased by you or have poured them? If purchased then do some research for longer ones. I have a swimbait mold that takes a double keeper. The second one is too long and I cut it off.

Do the colors run? Should they be separated by color or not?

Do you go over.....?
I have no idea. I don’t even look at the ratings. I just tie it on and throw it. If the rod doesn’t handle it well, I use a different rod.

Spring Weather
We are having some of that stuff here.

Spinning Reels vs Baitcasters
I use both depending on what I want. I try to carry 10-12 of each. I can throw as light as 3/32 oz on one bc setup and do part of the time. There are techniques that make a bait caster inadequate, one example, in late winter bass sometimes can be on the first or second ledge on a bluff. Bait casters tend to swing the bait away from the bank and many times miss that first ledge. With spinning the bail can be left open and the bait will fall almost vertical.

you buy any high ticket items and not use it?
I bought a John Deere 4 wheel drive diesel tractor which I only use maybe once a year. That must have been the day that I awoke to find myself mad at my money.

Western Wa, spotlock or powerpole?
I had power poles. They were nearly worthless to me. Most of the time my boat is over deeper water than the length of the poles. I now have a trolling motor with spot lock. It is lots better. Spot lock jog is the best thing that I have ever seen on a trolling motor.

What are your thoughts on Nitro bass boats?
Only an anvil would hold up in those conditions and it would rust.
-
Wax routine?
Google Bow to Stern. I have used it for years and never waxed the boat.

Do Any of You Fish Exclusively for One Type of Bass?
I could but it would be counter productive. Largemouth, smallmouth, and spots frequent the same water on Table Rock and Stockton where I mostly fish. It is common to see all three on a point or cove.

Does realistic shape matter in soft plastics?
Gene Larew salt craw.
-
coconut water. you drink it?
Never had any. I’ll try some when it gets hot cause I hate straight water.

Does realistic shape matter in soft plastics?
I say no. I catch fish on brush hogs, stick bait, TRDs, etc that look nothing like what I have seen in the water. However, I have made this bait in many colors and varieties and never had a bite on it.

Deals on humminbird FF and mega live?
